Not sure if it was real or a joke....

not sure if this fits here but since I think it is an issue it might
what would you do if you were at the park and you were looking into the duck pond...
hidden in the leaves and plastic bottle caps
there was a floating eyeball...
and you couldn't tell if it was real or not...?

-happened yesterday
didn't see it there 2 days ago but I was distracted the other day by kids at the park throwing rocks at the ducks so I didn't take the time and look closely at the water...

I didn't have anything to reach for it either and I didn't see anyone around who could check it out...
not sure if it is still there or not... still could just be a prank or something...

looked like it had been setting there for a few days
was slightly red in the white area close to the back of it and it was a light blue in the iris

kind of a bit creepy

Unless there was an absolutely awful smell and flies with it I'd say it was fake. But you never know.

Glass Heart 03-20-2011 03:59 PM

well it was just an eye, could of even been a glass one... not sure if those can float... but didn't look fake like the toy ones you see in the store
even things that smell bad might of not shown up since it was cold and windy day

Probably one of the duck eyes? O.o Since the kids are throwing stuff at them.

Feythfull 03-20-2011 06:37 PM

was is round and smooth or did it have stuff coming of it like veins or what ever there would be attaching it to the inside of a head.

Glass Heart 03-20-2011 11:42 PM

looked like faded veins couldn't see the backside to it to see if it had been connected though... if I could of seen that it would of gave it away
the front looked smooth and the side was somewhat reddish as well
it did not look completely smooth though, but could be my mind playing tricks since it happened yesterday
should of studied it a bit more

Holy crap, I had something like this happen to me once, except it was a sock. Dx
I was at this pond and it looked like there was a foot sticking out of the water so I poked it with a stick.
Luckily there wasn't anything inside. ._.

I probably would have called someone over or tried to get in contact with the police to have them check it out. I think it would be better to panic a bit and get someone's attention, even if it ended up being a prank in the end.

That's what I've been thinking the whole time, but I didn't want to admit that it might be so.

...Well, at my old high school...my freshman year, someone found a "bomb" in the boys bathroom.

They evacuated the school and brought in the bomb squad, and they blew it up.

Guess what it was.

A bottle of old chocolate milk that had expanded.

So. Um. I wouldn't have done anything. It may have been a duck eye or a fish eye.

Ew. D:
I hope it was fake.

Honestly I don't know what I would have done if I saw it. I sure hope that thing was fake. D:
