Would this be against the rules?
 

I want to make a hangout thread in the clubhouse for friends of mine from my home forum to chat, discuss, and goof around. My concern is that the point of the thread would be a Parashi Fanclub, Parashi being a manga-in-progress. The point of my home forum was for fans to gather and try to unravel the story before the books come out. We just want a more active place to discuss.

Is this considered advertising/spamming?

The group will NOT be openly saying "Hey come check this out and join our forum." We want to LEAVE our home forum and move here but still have something in common.

No, I don't think so. Should be fine.

It will be against the rules if you actually come here and make people from here go to that certain site. Other than that, you are fine like Coda said. :)
