What can you do when you are 18?
 

To be 18 lets see. . . .what was it like for me. . .

I became a number to government that is what happens when you are 18. You can now also buy smokes. -thinks- You now can go into clubs and that are 18 and up.

It all depends on what you do really. But that is how I seen it and lived it.

OMG! I can travel to another country on my own.

You could have done it before just your mum and dad needed to sign some kind of waver saying you are allowed to travel alone.

I know, but that isn't fun. Because you can't really do anything when you are under 18 and it can be scary traveling on your own.

That is true. Also I shall be moving this one into life styles, since it is more of what people have done in life at that time.

Lots of clubs won't let you in until you're 21. Also, most places won't let you rent a car until you're 25.

No no some will let you but it all depends what day of week also. But I think more less it is where wear you live.

Where I live the things you can do are scattered among different ages, turning 18 doesn't really mean you are suddenly able to do tons of stuff. x3

14 is the age of consent for sex, getting married with permission from someone or other, and the age that you can get a job (though not all jobs), 15 is when you can get your learner's permit, 16 is when you can get your drivers license, work in the food industry (WHOO! Flipping burgers!) and I THINK move out on your own though at that age it would be super difficult, 18 you can buy ciggarettes and work at more dangerous jobs like the rigs, 19 you can buy alcohol and go into clubs and it is either 18 or 19 that you can travel on your own without parents/gaurdians permission.

Those may be off by a year for a couple of them, but yeah. Pretty scattered.

Many clubs have nights that allow in 18+, and there are even clubs specifically for that. I know that in some states/areas you can buy 3/2 beer at 18...it's reeeeeeeally not worth it though IMO. Uhm...really I didn't find much about 18 to make it amazing. Heck, I wasn't that impressed at 21 either. I think if you're motivated you'll find your own fun no matter your age :)

You can vote, buy smokes, lottery tickets.... Thats about it. ^^; I'm more looking forward to when I can rent a car...at 25 lol.

Buy Porn, sex toys, Hentai, Yaoi, Vote, purchase Cigarettes/tobacco items, Get your first plastic card. confirm online/television purchases, full time jobs. operate mechanical things.
