Looking for Dresden Files RPrs

So first, for those who know not what are the Dresden Files, refer to here: http://www.dresdenfilesrpg.com/setting/ ...

Next, I think that as we make the RP, we would be wise NOT to involve characters from the actual story. OCs Galore will make things more interesting if this works.

Next, I think we need a GM (or Game Master) to narrate certain events in the story that could not otherwise be determined by regular characters (for example, the actions of NPCs).

Those interested may begin posting ideas below, and/or posting character applications.

Oooooooo, I loved that show, and have read the first couple books...very tempted.... I've heard a bit about the DFrpg, but I've not actually played it, so I'm not sure how well I'd do with it. But, as I'm an avid gamer/rper I'll at least put my tentative interest here. As to a GM, I am right now non-volunteering myself, I'm a horrid GM.

Err why would we need a game master? Just curious because I've kinda never rped with one before.

a GM is good to have to man the NPCs and maybe guide the storyline...but full on GMing is hard on-line, so it would be more the 'Narator in the Background' I think.

Hmm, I guess I've always just pushed around the NPC's as needed so I never really needed a GM. Hmm I know alot about the HD universe so if you can forgive some of the characters being, not quite themselves I could take a shot at it. I usually don't try to rp characters since I feel I'm bad at them. Is there a particular spot in the story line where you'd like to pick up? Also I've never watched the show so I don't know if it deviates from the book.

Oooooooh boy does the show deviate from the books LOL But I can figure most of it out, and I'm in the process of reading the rest, so I'll catch up.

I was actually hoping to avoid the TV series, for the deviations, but if it ever came to it, I would take people's word on things. I also said that characters from the books SHOULDN'T be involved precisely for what you mentioned: it would be harder to synchronize the characterization. As for the setting, I think that staring before the events of Changes would uphold the most variety in the RP. I'm having trouble in the plot part of things. It could be a public one where people would wander around and have adventures on paper, or we could try to make a story out of it. XP
