I think I'm becoming like my mom. ._.
I saw something and thought it was 'pretty' so I bought it. Dx
|
Has it become a habit? O_O
|
Nope, but I'm tempted sometimes. D;
|
Do you have this uncontrollable urge to buy that "pretty" thing?
|
Lol. xD
Not necessarily. Only if I'm in a good mood. |
lol I think the urge to buy pretty things just happens to everyone at some point.
|
*pats shoulder*
It's okay. I do a lot of things that my mom does as well. We'll get through this, I promise. <3 |
I have the problem with movies and games. I've bought many just because it looked good or fun.
|
see, I got outta bed the other day and wandered in to brush my teeth and MY MOTHER was in the mirror. Yeah, that's scary. Now I'm waiting to see if I become irrational and 'recall' conversations that didn't happen....

I am male in real life and I've always been a lot like my mother. Given how I see my dad I say that's quite fortunate. The only similarities between me and him is clumsiness, appearance, and phlegmatic personality.
Anyways me and my mom.... 1) Same Smile 2) Perfectionist/organize 3) Goal-oriented, work loving people 4) Love for chocolate, coffee 5) People Bizzarily liking us Dx |
Except for my eye color, I've always looked EXACTLY like my mom. We have the same hair color, hair style, general body type, walking pattern, and oodles of freckles. Now that I'm an adult, her sisters sometimes can't tell us apart.

We are all bound to do things that will be similar, at least, to something that our parents do. I follow more in my fathers footsteps then my mothers though. I tend to do things like tell my husband how old I was when he graduated high school and such. My dad did that himself. Unfortunately, it kinda creeps my husband out since he is 8 years older then me. >.> I was in the 4th grade when my husband graduated, for example. I find it interesting, and I don't care because we didn't even meet until I was 19 and only a couple months away from 20.
Yeah...so I guess you can figure out who most of my time was spent with. You tend to follow the habits of whoever you spend the most time in your childhood with, I think. |
i have the same mannerisms and gestures as my dad, its actually quite fun
|
Well I have started to make the same kind of bad jokes my mother always do D:
Buying pretty things are small scale D< |
I look like my mom, and definately have some of her habits. Funny thing is, I never actively noticed until I moved away from her. It's like I started doing all the things she would do now that she's not around to do it.
I look and act like my mom a lot of the times but I definately have noticable traits from my dad too. Notably, the expression I get when I'm deep in thought, my habit of staying up way too late, and my general laziness. Curious thing, but lots of people mention how much I look like my mom, but few people bothered to mention how I'm similar to my dad until after I lived with him for some time. It might be that the people I'm around were more familiar with my dad than before (parents divorced some time ago) or that the similiarities we already had developed more. I certainly didn't feel like I changed at all. |
In highschool I used to do the same thing. My mom told me then that I was a replica of her in highschool because she bought everything till she had no money left just like I did. I dont do that anymore though thank god.
