The sound of a bell is heard far away.
I look up, reach out a hand,
Only to be pulled to the depths below.
Souls scream for me,
Demons sing to me.
The devil holds me,
Gently, in his hands.

My soul is plunged into shadow,
Searching for a light,
An escape.
I, once more, reach out,
A small star above me.
Souls surround me,
Demons praise me.
The devil loves me,
Like a child, honest and blind.

The sound of a bell is heard far away.
I look up, reach out a hand,
And close my eyes one last time.
Life yearns for me,
Death calls to me.
The dream is ending,
And I see nothing more.
