Legend of Dragoon.

Does anyone else remember this game for the original Playstation?

There should definitely be a sequel in my opinion. The video graphics for this game looked pretty good, considering the year it came out. If only they were like that for the whole game lol.

I lost my original game. The case was cracked, but the discs were in really good shape.

I have the game myself x3 I love it. But I don't think there is need for a sequel really.. xD

Ashurato 05-10-2011 03:34 PM

Ah, PSOne games. Oh, how I miss thee.

I never played Legend of Dragoon, but I think I have the game lying around somewhere.

Nowadays, it's all about graphics and violence. Not my cuppa tea.

I enjoyed that game quite a lot even with all the criticism about it coming out near Final Fantasy 7 and it "copying" the storyline and graphics >> The battle system was very interesting too. Sotrywise I don't think I needed a sequel but if you want something with a similar battle style, Shadow Hearts was pretty close with it's judgement ring system...

I loved Legend of Dragoon! I always thought a prequel would be neater than a sequel, I wanted to see more of the original Dragoons. It's been so long since I've played that game, though.

Serra - Oh god, I love the Shadow Hearts series so much.

I remember really enjoying it, but it's been so long I can't remember all that much about it. I know I never finished it because my playstation broke and by the time I got a new one, I'd lost my reflexes for the battle system.

Rather than a sequel or prequel, I think it could use to be updated and rereleased, a la Square-Enix's endless remakes of their back catalogue (some of which are admittedly good).

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. MERU AND ROSE FOR THE FREAKING WIN.

I'm surprised anyone remembers this game. I'd love a sequel, or a remake, at least, with tons of better graphics. The gameplay was a little slow, as was the battle sequences. If it ran smoother than what it is, I think it'd do better sale wise. From what I've heard, the poor game didn't sell very well. =/

Four Discs! That game was amazing!

Batty 05-17-2011 05:47 PM

Indeed it was! I finished all four discs in like... a week. xD;

And then my mom beat MY time, and finished it in half that.

Lunaryon 05-17-2011 05:49 PM

I started to play it, but I never finished the first day?

Jurinjo 05-18-2011 01:16 PM

Ah yes I was just looking at that saturday! xD I thought about it but decided no to cause honestly I have this strong "need" to hit those buttons during attacks correctly. And having to do it all the time is annoying. Sad I never finished the game. It actually belong to my cousin. My game, along with several others which one is most notably 80 hours of game play on Final Fantasy 12 was deleted by my grandfather. Oh and a Kingdom Hearts game that I had restarted over a dozen times b/c some STUPIDFUCKINGASSHOLEFAMILYMEMBERS kept erasing it without realizing Iw ant it. Do you want to know what's better? Grandpa's daughter sold all the games while he was in Thailand. I didn't hear an argument with him but ooooh auntie I'm sure picked up on my angry signals for having to lose all that shit. T^T /rant

Sorry about that. Actually dragoons was a good game in case you forgot that in all my ranting xD Crono Cross and Trigger were great as well. So complex though x-x Most of the knowledge I have gathered is actually from the internets xD

Batty 05-19-2011 09:31 AM

I never finished Chrono Trigger... but I've beaten Chrono Cross AT LEAST 35+ plus times. xDD

Kaguya 05-19-2011 09:55 AM

There is no way to make a sequel to that game, it tied up everything into one nice, neat bundle at the end.

Batty 05-21-2011 12:25 PM

Exactly. Which is why a remake wouldn't be too bad of an idea.

Just imagine how much MORE amazing it would be, with better graphics? I'd personally like to see it released for the PS3. Homahgawd... -drools-

Yommy 05-29-2011 09:23 PM

Oh how I loved that game and I still have it too. It was one of the first games I ever beat on the PSone. <3

dragoness129 05-30-2011 11:13 AM

I have always wanted to play it. A friend had it, but he lost his copy, so I was never able to borrow it. I watched him play it a few times and I really wanted to play it too.
I have some songs from the game on a CD and I LOVE them so much!
