Dark Shadows
For those of you who don't know, Dark Shadows was originally a 1960's day time gothic soap opera. The series is good, but I wonder what Tim Burton will do to it to create the movie. Anyone year anything about it? I think there was something about Johnny Depp being in it but that's all I've really heard.

-ahem- Anywho. I'm really interested to see what he's going to do with this. Not to sound like a fangirl or anything, but I hope Mr.Collins is at least good looking for the movies. Unless Depp's going to be cast as him. In which case... BUT ANYWAY. I had completely forgotten he was doing a movie. Thanks for reminding me, Lio! |

I loved the show when I was in college, it was sooooooooooooooo bad! I'm bitter I never got to see it all, I should totally find it! And if Depp is in it...OMG!! ::flails and runs off to research this:: |

The series is on Netflix! We watched a few episodes for Gothic Fiction. I can't wait for the movie. |

My moms got, basically, the whole Dark Shadows collection on VHS. At one point they also played reruns on the SciFi channel, BEFORE it was Syfy. xDD;

Not familiar with the series, but if it's Tim Burton there's agood change Johnny Depp is involved, along with Helena B. Carter, at least one B-grade classic horror actor (cameo usually), and Danny Elfman.
