I need a little help before I can create a thread...
 

Hey there. It's me Luna, and I was hoping that I could get some help getting images of the different Achievement notices. I am planning on creating an Achievement Guide, but I think it would look more professional if I could get the Actual Achievements to use.

That's part of the fun of having the users make a guide -- you have to get all that stuff yourself. Use your own achievements page to get the information about the non-hidden ones and talk to the other users to find out what secret achievements they've unlocked.

Yeah... Maybe I could have made what I meant a little clearer, but live and learn.

Okay, as a bit of a clearer call for help from any member, I need people to go and photoshop the various completed badges they have out of the page so that I can place them on the thread for a more professional look when I am showing the different badges that are available.

Can you give an example of how you want them to look?

I have the Post 50 Times achievement in Games and in Books, and should have it in Writing, soon, which might be helpful since people don't post in those that often.

The rectangle thing that you get either when you get the achievements, or the big rectangle that you can look at on the achievement page. I can't use photo shop at all.

MS Paint won't' suffice? :p

Or maybe I'm not understanding what you mean.

Luna, if you press "Print Screen" on the keyboard, it saves a copy of your screen to the clipboard. You could then open up paint, paste from the clipboard, cut out the section you want, then paste it in a new paint file and save from there.

Yeah... Exactly like that... I've tried... But I seem to have less then no skill with things like that. I tried to do something similar with on time when I was on, and no one else was, and I had the top post in every thread. I Screen capped it, and tried it photoshop it, and somehow I ended up with an unreadible green colored blob.

It's one of those things I could show you how to do in less than five minutes, but describing it is a lot more difficult.

Basically, get the screen how you want it.
Hit PrintScreen
Open MS Paint
Ctrl + V
Hit Esc
With the mouse, frame the section you want to cut out
Ctrl + C
Ctrl + N
Hit "No" and it should open a new Paint document
Ctrl + V
Adjust the borders to they line up with what you copied.

And that's it. Regardless, I'll start taking images of mine to post in your other thread. Do you want all of them, or just the hidden ones? I don't have many of those unlocked, beyond the "post x times" achievements.

Are you looking for only the screen notices or the ones that appear in the "completed" section of the achievments menu? The screen notices don't have the information on them but the achievment menu guys do.

I could take a screen shot of my achievement list so far, or would you want them one by one?

I sent Luna a text list of my achevements, ordered by point value since it seemed to be what she was looking for. However just about every other achevement I'll get soon will be a "secret" one and I don't even know which of the ones I have already were secret ones.

A banner of each of them, like Suzerain shows would certainly be nice and professional looking, but also a lot of work.

I think secret would be anything above 20 posts in a particular forum, or above 25 posts in general.
