Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
I'm going to see the movie on the 11th (yay)Has anyone already seen it? Is it as good as the last three movies or is it missing something without Orlando Bloom? I'm curious as to what everyone thinks on it.

I went to go see it.
It was ok, but it was no were near being as good as the last 3. I was disappointed, though there were a few good points i found that it dragged on more then it should have. |

It's alright. Still warming up to me. Once scene in particular was my favorite.

I enjoyed it, I compare it to the same level of story and adventure like in Dead Mans Chest.
At worlds end is still by far the best in my opinion, and no Orlando Bloom? YAY! Seriously I always thought his character was EXTREMELY boring. Elizabeth Swan was alright. I love Jack's love interest in the movie, shes actually entertaining. On stranger tides to me is just a set up movie for a new adventure, so its like the very first movie but it was as good as the 2nd movie xD. |

True... But their is going to be another, so it could be considered a prequel to the sequel that is going to be coming out, and I personally thought that it was better then the first three. It skillfully tied in characters that actually existed in, and it had Voodoo zombies.

First, the time line( as in the historial setting around the pirates) progressed and in the 3rd movie he took the map so this was a sequel. Also I am not sure how I feel. I think it was okay, okay was a good word for it. the 3rd one is actually my favorite in the series after seeing this one. I do like what prince said. Mermaids nuff said.

you cant have a prequel of a sequel, that would be the original :P

Honestly, I kind of liked it better without Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom since Johnny Depp basically makes the whole movie with just his character. It was a great movie but I felt that the romance scenes were a bit unnecessary, however, I really enjoyed the movie and it was a good watch. :)

I can see how some might not, there's a few parts where I was bored and was like ehhhhh this was unnecessary / could have been done better but really it was fun altogether a nice fun summery popcorn movie :3 and I loved Jack, as always It was kind of like a fanfic y'know? A Jack Sparrow fanfic someone put in a movie xD SO if you like the character of Jack then you'll probably like it |
Oh I want to see it so bad! MERMAIDS! lol
