I bought said item and can only view it in the view inventory place. It doesn't show up in the edit avatar spot.

That happened to me once too, with a different item. I had to wait a few minutes... Actually, I had to close the browser and re-open it for it to appear.

Are you using Internet Explorer?

I've had that problem when using Internet Explorer, IE has lots of bugs and somehow doesn't like Trisphee, Google Chrome works best for Trisphee ^^

That's no surprise. :P Trisphee is developed using Safari, and Safari and Chrome have a lot of code in common (they use the same renderer and highly-compatible Javascript engines). Firefox and Opera are the next tier of support since they're generally well-behaved. IE7 and IE8 are officially SUPPORTED browsers for Trisphee but it's incredibly difficult to debug them so it's highly likely that if a bug does come up that it'll reveal itself in IE first.
