Most expensive technology

I checked the story and sure enough yes it is. And it also listed other expensive items that is technology made that are actually out there. I am in shock that there is a ipad made with dinosaur bones. What do you all think of this? Or the other expensive things that are out there? I just can't believe people will buy stuff like this. I think it's the type of item that even though it is pretty to look at and brag off to, it won't work as well as a plain ordinary Ipad. Reminds me of a guild (or those fake trophies) pretty to look at but it's impractical

Those bones could of been used for paleontology research on that dinosaur for future science, but NO~ it gets mashed up and inserted in an ipad BI

I"ll totally be devils advocate and point that that 1) there are no actual surviving dinosaur bones, what we call their bones are mineral deposits that fill in the areas once their bones bio-degrade. 2) many 'bones' are so small they can't tell us much, so this is probably the better use than being tossed aside into a random drawer in a lab or museum cause it probably helped fund some research.
So, really, yeah, people are that bored and that rich, but I bet some of that money went and did some good :) |
