What would be reasonable for the cel-shaded style and the painted style if I did full body/ bust up/shoulder up/ headshot?

I am by no means a pricing professional, but I would personally pay upwards 5K+ for a colored waist up. Perhaps more depending on how much detail was necessary. If you did a full body, I'd charge 8K+ atleast. It's a cute style. I would love to be a first customer.

Okay, thanks. Would that be just a cel shaded waist up or painted style? o=

I couldn't tell the difference in your samples (Like I said, I am no professional. Haha). But, really, that is just a basis for what I think you should charge. Depending on which style is harder to do/takes longer, then I say charge more or less. C:

The soft shading was in the third sample. x3 <3

Are you a pricing professional?

nyreen 07-29-2011 12:29 PM

Nope. So I guess that my opinion doesn't matter. :|
I edited my post for more accurate prices. I took another look.

Phidori 07-29-2011 12:31 PM

Oh. Um. Okay, thank you ~

Espy 07-29-2011 12:45 PM

First: 6k
Second: 10k and background-dependent...
Third: I don't know >.<

Yeah, I'm horrible at pricing, but I kinda like your style.

Best advice: Bribe Me.
If you aren't sure about the price just ask for bribes.
Once a few people offer the price you'd like just use an average around it.
Like for instance.

You have three customers offer: 7.5k // 8k // 9k receptively for are like the second piece. The average of the three would be around 8.1k-8.2k so a good place would be 8k for the second style.

Let people offer for art, instead of asking for prices, because I'd get confused taking a bunch of different people wanting this price and that price.

(。◕‿◕。) If you plan on doing all your art like
the samples I'd pay up to 10k for
one. Since you have a lovely background
with them. Gorgeous art by the way.
