Trading Card Games
 

I have just recently got back into TCGs. A group of us friend were hanging out. Bored out of our minds. A friend pulled out his WoW decks and thus began a night of TCG. It was quite fun and I'm also surprised how much I enjoyed it.

Once I got home I started looking for my decks and stuff. I found my Yu-Gi-Oh ones, Yu Yu Hakusho, and my WoW deck. And thus also begins my interests in it once again.

So how 'bout you guys? Pokemon even? I sadly cannot find my pokemon decks.
Or maybe Magic?

I still have my Pokemon and YuGiOh decks... or rather, my YuGiOh deck and my Pokemon cards.

I never understood how to play the game with Pokemon cards; I just liked the collecting part!

I'm ready to duel with my YuGiOh deck, though! XD I can still remember my strategies, too! All of my cards are really old, though.

I guess that makes more sense to use 'cards' instead of 'decks'. xD I don't even member my strategies I used.

Collecting and trading pokemon cards was entertaining as a kid. I wish I could find them all. >_> I had some good ones.

I know exactly where mine are because I found them the other day when I was cleaning my room... which I still have to finish doing.

What was your favorite Pokemon and/or YuGiOh card? I've always loved my Eevee card from the first gen series.

That's a hard one. Hrm... Pokemon I had a Growlith card that I adored I remember. It was a Sargent someone card. YuGiOh, I did have the Dark Magician one like Yugi had from the show. xD Only one I remember having right now.

I have 3 different Dark Magician cards. I want the Read Dark Magician, though. That one is awesome!

Oh, haha. That's right. I have one pokemon card. It's the one I got from going to McD's recently they were giving out pokemon toys with a card so me and my friend went to get kid meals that day. xD

XD Now I want a Happy Meal!

I won a YuGiOh card from a contest they were having on Kids WB one time when the first season was still airing on Saturday mornings. It was... Summoned Skull, I think. My brother took it to school and got it confiscated, though.

The good old 'cards getting confiscated' story. Stupid teachers. >.>

Yeah, I know. It's not like we have time to be kids when we're constantly having books, knowledge, sports, and standardized tests shoved in our faces all the time!

Some parents go bonkers (in a bad way) over card games like that, though, because they think it's teaching their children how to summon real demons...

Oh, hahah. I know! xD Summoning demons is a good one. Parents some times. >_>

I'm bringing my all my cards today. Maybe we are gonna throw in a game of YuGiOh while other play WoW.

I still have my pokemon cards, but they are old and most of them are badly damaged and because I didn't do anything with them, I gave my good ones to a friend that will take good care of them, so those can't be used for playing anymore. I might start with Magic with a couple of friends, because it looks interesting and I like collecting things.
