Character Limits

What is the character limit in posts?
I am asking this because of my dream journal. I plan to archive old dreams I have posted on various avatar sites in there so they are in one central location. But after putting two of them into spoiler tags it occurred to me there might be a limit that could be handled. Don't want to break nothing or even cheat the gold count. >~>

there really isn't a character limit, but the more the characters the more the aurums you'll recieve. when it hits around 45-47 then it gets harder to get higher than that. Cazzidy has a great guide when it comes to aurums and postings.

Oh, there IS one. It's freaking huge. I don't know of anyone who's ever actually hit it. Unless I miss my guess we're talking something like 64 pages from a paperback novel. We'll get on your case for spam before you hit the hard database limit.

Edit: Also, megaposting doesn't break any gold rules; in fact, if you were trying to generate aurum you'd be better off making multiple smaller posts than one big one. (And that'd get classified as spam.)

I remember someone hit 64 aurum worth of characters but had to edit it because she pasted the wrong code on the thread

So Coda if I were to editing to a single post several old dreams and stick them into spoilers it'd be okay? If you click the "dreamer's Lament" link you'll see how long my dreams are.

But if you apparently can tell when someone is approaching that limit I'd love to know right away. -nods- Though I'm not so sure I typed up quite that many dream lol.

Sure, if they're in spoilers I have no reason to criticize.

It'll make it easier and less intimidating on the first thread.

and it's like a surprise when they click that Spoiler button

Okay, thanks guys. ^_^
Glad I won't be getting into trouble...at least not for that. I'll try not to get in trouble for anything else too. Put too much money into this site for that. xD
