Smart phones and storms
During the time of Irene trying to destroy NY, a few of my coworkers and I noticed something funny going on with our phones. Four of us have the iphone 4. Of the four, three of us noticed that around 4 pm, it was telling us it was only 11 am, and January 3rd.
I assume some others had a similar scare, but is it possible that the storm was messing with our network connections? It was odd because messages time stamp showed the correct time while the rest didn't. Anyone else have this fun? Is there a way to prevent it? |
my phone(it's a cheap samsung) did that once, it went off system for a moment causeing a time reset, i had the same date as you though the hour was a little past that

╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (。◕‿◕。) My phone never did that to me before. Mine usually deceides to mess up when I restart it, as in the damn thing won't load back up until I go into recovery and load it ; ; Otherwise my stupid phone works fine. Maybe it was the storm. It was a bad storm after all. I hope it didn't hit you guys too hard. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |
Yeah, I figured it must of been the storm. I wasn't the only one either, so it's not like I was having glitchy phone fun.

So far haven't had that happen. I'm having other bugs, but none associated with storms....oh, and I use an iPhone 4 as well.
