I assume people can sign up themselves now? But they wont be getting the beta items right? Just checking...

Beta items are for the closed beta members only, however, closed beta members may be able to sell the closed beta items. With that said, we aren't releasing the closed beta items just yet. one we have to get them in the system, and two, we need to get the coding so that we can grant it to users and allow users to have multiples of items if they want them for when people buy di's. Those are being worked on, along with the trade feature.

Right now, we're not in open beta, and we're not accepting new users at the moment. On the fifteenth we are going open beta, so that's when people may come to the site naturally.

Doo doo doo~ Open Beta means inactive users since the closed beta will be remove and username will be available, right?

Oh becuase there was a new member yesterday? The "newest member" name changed...

That's because they had already sent Fenris a Pm regarding beta and she hadn't had a chance to add them yet.

Also, the "newest members" are unable to post until we allow them to, so if they didn't sign up the proper way, they get deleted.

And yes, inactive users who have no posts and haven't participated in the slightest will have their accounts removed so that users who want the names may use them.

Yeah and so they wont get beta items that will just lay around there for ages. That would be a bad thing. Of course name holding is bad too.

Yeah but then again some betas joined so late they hardly saw anything. But that's not my thing to judge I guess but still. I think I have lurked most threads and posted at least once in all the important ones...

Well, they could have posted and interacted. That and every time we uploaded something, there was always a bug or two. At least we have the bugs stamped out. Now we're just looking for broken items mostly.
