So, figured I might as well start a thread on what seems to be a very popular Anime for those who actually watch.

So, who is your favorite character?

Favorite faction?

Have you always liked the show?

Favorite Faction -- I might just have to say the Fullbringers, cause there an interesting rag-tag group
Have I always liked the show -- Couldn't say. Don't watch the show, I read the manga. I'd probably enjoy the show.

I started watching it a while ago, but I gave up after the... was it called the Bount arc? Just lost interest.

I did enjoy the Soul Society arc, but I don't think I would have watched the show at all if Rukia hadn't been in it. I didn't really like any of the other characters, except maybe Byakuya. I would have liked to have seen him really go all out on someone, though. Does he ever?

He does, but the only one I've seen him really go all out against is one of the Arancars once they are in Las Noches. He does it to defend Rukia.

You wouldn't happen to know the episode name so I could look it up, would you? :)

Oh, on a similar subject, does Rukia ever get the chance to be awesome again? One of the things that made me stop watching was how she got regulated to the sidelines after they rescued her in the Soul Society arc.

She does, but never plays quite as big of a role. Kinda bounces between the characters a bit.

Mm, yeah, that's probably my biggest complaint, all because they built her up as such a strong character early on then just kind of seemed to get bored with her.

...I may have teared up when she got kidnapped at the end of the first arc. That scene was really well done.

Favourite character is really two, Kenpachi and Yachiru(cause you can't have one without the other, that's just wrong). I don't have a favourite faction...they've all got good and bad points. And like Lunaryon I read the manga, not watch the anime. Though, when they had the zanpakto arch I watched that just to see what ended up looking like what.

Read the manga, but still prefer the anime at points. Worst part though is when they decide to use extra material as filler and take away from the series instead of adding to.

I sorta hate most filler...since in most cases it derails the whole plot set down in the manga. I do have to give Bleach props for that, they have filler, but they don't let it derail the general plot and will get back to it...eventually.

Lunaryon, I actually meant, I'd like to see him be seriously challenged for once, like, actually in danger of losing. I'd like to see him lose his composure and really have to fight for his life, give it everything he has. Maybe even show some emotion. :p

I take it nothing like that ever happens?

I mean, he's one of most badass characters ever, I'd just like to see what's beneath the mask, so to speak. But, I suppose that's part of his character, always being in control.

i started watching bleach about a month ago

mainly because of my brother who always watches it over and over again xD
but my favourite character would be ichigo actually.. i just think he's awesome.
though i like ichimaru aswell LOL can't choose xD
