New phone help?
 

Next month my contract with my current phone on verizon is up...
I need to find a new phone. I'm still with a verizon contract since i have unlimited plan bc of grandfather clause...
Current phone is a Droid Eris by htc... it sucks...
New phone possibly another droid or iphone (not really want iphone though)

So any suggestions on what is good out there?

the iPhone is actually really good. Though I would recommend going with the iPhone 4 instead of the 4S. the 4S has had quite a few issues. (personally I use the iPhone 4)

If you are wanting another droid, the Droid 3 is decent, but I have heard good things about the Droid Razr as well as the Droid Incredible 2.

Well... I dont want an Iphone bc verizon wont service it so i will have to go to the apple store if i have an issue with it... And I am planning on getting the droid razr now bc my cousin works for verizon and he showed me his business phone (which was the razr) and from the looks of it it is nice with a small sleek design. the phone doesnt have a delay with the screen swipes or loadings. And the 4g is really fast.

Nice. Dealing with Apple for repairs isn't bad, just can be a hassle since you have to find an Apple Store or send it in. The Droid Razr, if it's anything as innovative as the original razr, should be good. Although the iPhone is really user friendly and the rest of the Apple products are as well. Planning on upgrading to iPhone 5 (assuming it has 4g and a few other updates to it as well).

I would go with the Razor. Because Alpha normally hates his iPhone.....

Eh, I do. It is still a good phone and goes well/works with my Mac as well.

Still trying to decide whether to trade for a Droid or keep with an iPhone come next December.

Well I already have a Ipod touch so i wont need a iphone... The razr is really good though.

The Razr is, though when do you go for upgrade again?

Next month on the 22nd... so i might have to make a trip to asheville... might or ill just wait till i go home again...

Well, don't get set on a phone for a bit. My suggestion is to give it time to see if there are any major issues with the Razr or any other phones you are looking at.

if the razr has good reviews and a new phone hasn't come out the time i go get a new one i might go with the razr unless otherwise stated from my cousin since he works with the phones...

Understand there. I'm kinda just keeping an eye on things myself so I know how things are looking.

Nearest Verizon is in Waynesville, it is a decent one.

Yeah.....I may be visiting there to do my upgrade come next December....

Meh... It will all depend on if a new phone is scheduled to be released at the time of my upgrade

Hmmm.....so far the Droid 4 might be released here soon, and there are one or two others rumored to be released sometime in the next 6 months.
