Ration/Water grants
 

From what I've read (correct me if I'm wrong) the grant is only disabled in the game forum. I didn't get a grant when I posted in the TV show forum this time (and probably not last time either, but I didn't notice)

Someone else mentioned they weren't getting something every post, so possibly it's like previous collection events, and the rate is lowered after you get a particular amount?

Serra's right. As was mentioned in the announcement that started the event, the currency will be increasingly difficult to acquire as you collect more. Once you've passed a certain threshold you don't get one every post.

Is that so people don't hoard like crazy? XD

Ah. Okay then. That threshold seems low then XD (compared to others hoarding amounts XD)

The threshold is pretty low but there's still a lot of event left so even with the reduced rewards you should still have plenty of time to bring in a lot.

Espy: To an extent, yes, but more specifically we want it to FEEL like it's getting harder as resources become scarcer, not just play some statistical balancing act.

It doesn't drop THAT fast. ^^; At first it might even be considered a chance NOT to get one but it'll get rarer.

That's what I thought when I noticed I started to not get them every post. This just confirmed my thoughts. :3

Consider it a show of determination when it comes to getting all you can. :). These are hard times after all.

Are there like different levels of "hard to find"? Or is it just a one time thing where the chance of getting rations/waters is lowered once?

It's a sliding scale based on how many you've already collected.

Knowing the scale won't help you collect any faster. Get hoarding before I raid your house for your supplies!
