My parrot just learned the Imperial March!
I love my animals!
My Gandolf, the (African) grey parrot, just sung the main bit to the Imperial March from Star Wars! I've been whistling it to him every day several random times a day for about two months. (Maybe a little more.) He can also sing the song from Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the theme song from the Andy Griffin show, and answers anytime the phone rings with, "Hello?" He can also 'cluck' like a chicken, 'meow' like a cat, and have three different 'bark's he can do. He talks quite a bit and the funniest thing (I think) he does is when we are watching a sitcom on TV... after someone tells a joke, he laughs with the laugh track. We laugh as well, which is why I think he does it - but it's still hilarious. What should I teach him next?! So, any wacky things your pets can do? |
....Don't teach him the Nyancat song. I haven't got pets, but my teacher's Sheltie will try to paw your hand out of his mouth if you put it there.(He also looks like a rug when he's sleeping.) Oh, and he won't eat unless you tell him to "eat". My mom forgot about that the first time we babysat him.

The fact he can whistle to a Star Wars theme is just fricken amazing. My cats are pretty much idiots ~_~ Sayuri... she's... a skitty. She will litterly jump over a foot in the air from the slightest movement or sound. Hell air can move and she will jump up scared and run off LOL. But she can climb in the windows without needing a surface to climb on to jump into it. Unlike my other 3 cats. Lavendar another cat of mine can talk english. Sometimes when she meows it sounds like she is saying 'hello' and 'no'. She's also barked twice so far... Weirdo lol. I can't think of anything Hamtaro and Gintoki can do right now though. They are pretty normal. Except for Hammy's obsession with boxes.. You get one and before you can pull anything out of it, he's already sitting in the damned thing, claiming it as his. I loved my kitties. I have one that thought it was a dog. Booboo did bark and tried to wag her tail. As we all know - cats have no control over their tails... *hee hee hee* I also had a cat who thought she was a monkey. The other two though, were just typical pain the in the tomcat males. *ug*

I put a bag of chips on the floor to walk away to get a drink one day and here is Lavendar and her twin brother Gintoki, grabbing chips out of the bag and eating them ~_~ They will steal any food I am eating.. right off the damned plate, they don't care. Maybe you should teach him some sort of greeting for when the door opens. As for songs I'm not sure if you like it, but I've always found the theme for Psych to be fun to whistle!~ I don't have any pets so noting for me to report really >.< maybe I'll get on later on after I'm completely relocated. |
