Oh, You're a creeper?

I was babysitting my step-niece this weekend, along with her brother, and while I was letting the niece play games on my computer, she told me her mother looks at my pictures a lot on facebook. (Her mother is my mom's husband's son's wife.)

Okay, I take that as it is. Lots of people look at my facebook.

...
Today, her mother sent me this message, and I have to say, it set off some warning flags.

---

Her: I was looking at your profile pic, and thinking that you were naked at first! The clothing matched your skin tone so well. I looked at your profile pics and liked this one the best [Link Removed] I like the lighting, and I think the picture captures a simple, kind, child-like beauty. Just out of curiosity, would you ever work in a strip-club? I know you would make good money. I don't think even if I had the bod I could do it without feeling shitty about myself, but I have fantasized about it before.
-

Me: I've considered it, but I don't want so many people to see me, being self-conscious put aside.
-

Her: What is the harm in being seen?
I wonder if you could sell your pictures, many of them are very artsy.. Too bad you don't like drawing BIG pictures, because you could use them as your background, and you could become part of the artwork..

---

I stopped replying after that.

Uh.
Yah. I might hide my pictures from her.

☪ஐﻬ☽ Umm Tera... I don't know her and I am creeped out right now....
..... I have no idea what to say right now...
That is beyond creepy.....

I only have a story about a friend creeping me out
and then scaring the crap out of me when he shoved
his tongue down my throat while I was in high
school ~_~ .... (so doesn't like creepy people).

The thing that kind of makes me laugh..
She jumps from "Childlike beauty" to "would you work at a strip club?"

Surprise kiss? '-'
Tongue down throat creates odd images in head..

☪ஐﻬ☽ I know... that is a massive leap to make.

Ya. He deceided one day at my boyfriend at the times
birthday party to list off a bunch of things he would
do differently if he was my boyfriend with his arm
around me... Which made me uncomfortable because I was
already in a relationship (with a bad guy of course) and
I had no interest in him at all. And then one day, bam!
He shoves his tongue down my throat at a club for teens
in my town.. Needless to say I ran the hell out of there
and began to hide from him in school because he scared
me for some reason. Not sure why. And this guy always
acted like he was in total love with his girlfriend he
had at the time, even telling me he saved her from
almost being raped.. ~_~

Oh totes -_-

urgh.

Worst I had that wasn't a boyfriend type is a guy pinning me to a wall when I was still in school. Caught me going to the bathroom, pinned me there and pressed all up on me asking when I was going to go out with him. I replied Never, pushed him off, and just went back to class.

That's not counting work encounters either where gross old men thought they could trap me in the bathrooms. D=

I hate dirty old men... They creepy... Too creepy.
Why can't some guy just.. be good. Like well behaved
boys when they approach someone? Its not like we are
asking too much.

Holy hell that is really creepy. I don't blame you for being creeped out, honestly I'd probably block her on FB altogether. :/

Terasine 03-26-2012 03:03 PM

I'd feel bad blocking her considering she likes to come to our house unannounced. It'd be awkward. "Hey, why'd you block me?" and then death stares from her father in law because he treats that girl like a fucking Queen.

Daring Scylla 03-26-2012 03:42 PM

that is spooky. maybe because I'm not from the US but we're used to getting up in everyone's space and being comfortable with each other fast, like, but even that is odd. that's just odd.

i'd tell her straight up "You are making me uncomfortable with that kind of talk" if you try a direct approach and she still doesn't respect your space then you can block her and be justified.

That would scare the hell out of me.

That said, it creeps me out big time when people I don't even know, call me by my real first name. Or if I do know them they say nothing about who they are and how they know my first name and they call me by it and talk like they're so familiar with me and I'm just like who the hell are you?

Terasine 03-27-2012 01:39 PM

That's one of the reasons I hate nametags. XD
Wore them at work, was forever wondering "htf do you know my name?"

HABIT 03-28-2012 03:30 AM

Nametags do suck. XD

Tiva 03-28-2012 10:25 PM

Creepy much, maybe explain it to your family or her that it creeped you out?
