Not a good day
Ok, i am a lurker @ heart but yesterday (Tuesday)was not a good day so needed to share, sorry this is not a happy post.
Started as any other by waking up at 17:00 (i work nights) downstairs to have my first caffine fix & smoke. 5 missed calls on my mobile from my dad. My dad does not call me very often on the mobile so my mind went into overdrive. I got the courage to call him back & yes it was bad news a good family friend passed away in the early hours, as i was comming to terms with that, he went on to tell me there was more to come. Another friend had taken a bang on the head at work on Monday & went to the Dr then rushed straight to hospital with a brain hemorage & is still critical, & finaly a parent of one of my friends who had been living in sheltered accomodation who suffers from dementia decided to go out for a stroll or should i say MIA. I am a person who likes to look at the glass as half full, but at this time it is for sure half empty heading towards drained |
*hugs* Hopefully your friend's parent will show up some where soon? They wander but they should be found in a few days.
As for the death, I am extremely sorry for your loss. |

I am a little frustrated as have been given no news of the friend in hospital as its not close i cant realy just pop in and try to find out either.
Still have no clue where the wandering one went but i know she is back safe and sound so that is good only thing now is to be strong for family and friends on Wed, hate to say it but yes it will be time to put on the black tie & suit. |
