Ummm...is this normal?
 

So with the recent events I had told my hubby that seeing pictures of friends wedding make me envious of the moment.. looking beautiful for him and all that stuff.. not the price tag.

Well I had gotten a friend request for some one and I added them and I saw a picture that was tagged.. One of my ex's finally got married.. this surprises me because of his attitude when we were dating.

So I looked at some wedding pictures and that envious feeling started creeping in...

Is that normal?

Maybe thats why you feel that way. Most girls have their 'dream weddings' planned out in their heads. And even if they don't once they are asked the question they do think about it a bit.

maybe it wasn't exactly what you wanted, and you feel like your missing an experience

It wasn't big but it was sorta fancy.. She looked really pretty in the dress and surprisingly he looks good in a tux..lol.

So maybe, thats whys you're jealous?

I, personally, thought of a few different ways I would like to have a wedding... One was over the top, one was simple and sweet sorta like yours.

And thats if I ever get married.

if you want a big/fancy wedding, renew your vows? If you guys were gonna work it out, when things are better have another wedding as sort of a "restart" a renewal. A new beginning.

Ya we were talking about renewing our vows in a few years..

so maybe do something fancier for that?

Yeah, that's normal, makes me wonder when I get married what it will be like

I already know it won't be as I had thought as a child... which was pretty simple... but the churches my family goes to, doesn't accept buddhists and even if they did they try to encourage the person to change religion to theirs... ... also I guess I didn't think so much about money... hmm something else in consideration

If I ever get married(which is probablt never gonna happen to my sig other even though we want it too...) we want something simple with lots of family members. I don't want a big fancy wedding... I just want my family there, and some kind of potluck/dinner afterwards.

It's perfectly normal. Considering your's was a simple occasion and theirs most likely were more formal. Like what others have been saying, for your vow renewal, do something more like what you may have dreamed to be your wedding.
Save up and make that the day that you've always wanted. Even though you already have one of the things you've wanted (the husband). That and you seemed to have had a wonderful time surrounded by people whom you love and love you. Which is one of the most important things about a wedding is sharing it with people you care about and want to share it with.

I think you looked beautiful in your wedding photos. Don't worry about other people. Be happy for them and love yourself. Envy's natural, but don't forget what you're rocking.

I wouldn't entirely know. I never really dream about a wedding day. I mean I get jealous when an ex I really had feelings for is so involved with someone but jealousy is a normal trait in humans.
