Religion

Here is where you may freely express and discuss your religion with each other without the fear of judgement.

Please:

- Do not try to convert each other.
- Harassment will NOT be tolerated. Don't do it.

I'm not a strong believer of religion or any forms of organized...uhm...faith? But, I look up to those who are considered gods or higher beings.

I don't really follow a religion as such, but I do like astrology, oracle cards and new age things like that.

I myself--as you can see from the third icon in my signature--am an atheist. This means that I do not believe in any gods or higher beings. My parents have both been atheists for all or most of their lives, and same can be said of both my sisters.

We were raised and live in a very liberal, open-minded, and logical-thinking kind of life. All of us are somewhat obsessed with the sciences and we watch the Science and Discovery channels regularly.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of misconceptions about atheists. No, I do not worship the devil, I don't even believe in him. No, I do not lack any morals, I use common sense instead of the Bible. No, I will not force my beliefs (or lack thereof) onto you, because I do respect other religions.

If anyone wants to ask a question about me or my beliefs, please ask away.

I myself am Agnostic. I sorta believe there is something out there, but I don't truly care who or what (leaning more towards believing the idea of Roman and Greek Mythology). I thoroughly believe in evolution, there is just too much proof behind it. I also believe in the science of it.

There may or may not be something bigger than me out there. But at this point I don't really know or care who or what it is.

I'm from the Bible Belt and have had Southern Baptist friends try to shove their beliefs down my throat. I would try to tell them that I was Agnostic and only got chastised for being Atheist, even though there is a difference. So I took to telling everyone who decided to shove their beliefs on me that I was Pastafarian (believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster). It would always shut them up, and it was actually a fairly fun 'religion' to research.

To be honest I have always been all over the place
with religion. I don't actually believe in a god
per say. I chose at age 9 there was none and there
couldn't be one... Odd age to do that too. I am
somewhere between a wiccan and buddhist. I have
beliefs for both of them. I follow the paths of
both and have pretty much my entire life. Even
as a child.

I was baptized in a roman catholic family and my
family was no religious at all. Except my great
grandma. (who was a outstanding woman might I add).
I did go to church a few times growing up and even
went to sunday school, well the form of it for the
summer time that is. Whatever that was called.

I'm Roman Catholic. I don't really go to church or mass or anything, but I believe in Mary, Jesus and God and the rosary and its prayers. I also believe in exorcisms.
