I'm just wondering if all of you, who know how much art sells for here, can advise me on what to charge for simple sketches like this.

5-8k without tip is what I would pay

Can you do anything more detailed?

More detailed as in for a more complicated avatar, or less sketchy in general?

I can do both, though I don't have a sample of a complex avatar in the more realistic style. But, uh, here's an eye that's a lot more detailed than those...clicky clicky.

Of course, it's still in the sketchy format. I -can- do cleaner, crisper lines, but I would prefer not to.

Just showing more detail as a whole. Like... I love the sketchy style, but I would order avi art wanting more detail shown. Does that make sense?

I'm afraid I don't really understand. The example isn't a perfect reflection of my skill, if only because a real avatar would have many more things to draw than a simple portrait and thus require more things to be detailed along with a head, hair and body.

Is that what you mean?

I probably wouldn't go up to 6k for just a headshot, but that's my opinion. Maybe for a bust, and 8k for a waist-up.

Miz - Oh, yeah, I could do something like that, working in all the little parts of an avatar. I see what you mean, that is pretty important in avatar art.

Though, a fullbody would take me a while to do.

so maybe make less detail versions of things cheaper, and more detailed things more money.
headshots:: 4 - 6k
Bust:: 7 - 9k
Full:: 10 - 15k

First number for none detailed sketchy art
Second number for a details art?

you could even add a color / non-colored art price if you wanted to
