Hello!

It's been ages since I've been able to check up on Trisphee. Life has been so crazy the last few years, but I'm interested in re-joining the community if at all possible. XP

I've got a lot to catch up on, it seems, and I look forward to getting to know everyone in the process.

Thank ya! Well, in the last few years...

College and work mostly. I was supposed to be graduating this semester, but it looks like that will be next May.

@Glitch;; Just a little off track is all. My major's been a bit tough and there are a lot of courses required. Dx

My journey's kind of been like that. I started as econ and political science, then switched to finance and math. Then I added a concentration as well, but it's got a lot of extra required courses. >__>;

Hopefully, it'll help me land a good job when I graduate though.

Ya I started out as communications/english but when I finished the English classes and had nothing but a string of communications classes to take . . . i freaked out and changed to teaching. I took the intro teaching course, and while I received As on all of my essays, I didn't do well on the multiple choice tests . . . so I was told I'd have to retake the class to be in the teaching program. By then I had been in college for 4 years and was getting kind of tired of it! So I went with English writing as I had the most credits and could graduate quickly that way. It was only in my final semester, after applying for graduation, that I realized I wanted to be a technical writer. So someday in my future, I'll go back and enter the tech writing field!

XP I understand that struggle so completely. I can write an essay and solve problems so well but the second my knowledge is tested in multiple choice tests I bomb. Being a technical writer sounds like it'd be cool, though!

Well, didn't due well in Mech E due to extreme anxiety/depression, so working on Physics/Geology. Also, want to learn 14 languages, and am a mythology/culture nut.

Yeah, anxiety has been a major issue with me in getting through school as well. I've been seeing a counselor and that's helped a bit, though that just began somewhat recently. In fact, I need to schedule another appointment with him now that I'm thinking about it... xD

I have a lot of varying, not-overlapping interests as well. The struggle is real. I want to make music, write, volunteer, and also be a financial analyst. And I've got so many video game ideas too.

Not enough hours in the day. :c

Counseling has had mixed results. Some have made it worse, others have kept me okay until I find something that helps on my own. :)
