Hello, I was a beta-tester here before the site opened. Unfortunately, I missed all the important stuff that I needed to learn. Anyway, let's get to the point-

I donated 5 dollars to this site for the promotional item. I have the Runes, but I do not know how to get the item. Some help?

You should PM Fenris and have her look into the details. You might also want to have your transaction number available (if you donated via paypal) or the date you sent the letter (if you sent it when mail ins were still allowed).

Wait, I just looked at my inventory, do you get it automatically? And is the special promotional item Pandora box of hope and despair?

Yes, they (pandora's boxes hope and despair) were added to your inventory automatically on either the 15th or 30th, depending on whether you donated before the official open or after. You should have a pair for each $1 you donated. :3
