So today was my birthday and for the first time in years I actually had a pretty nice day. We didn't really do anything special, just had a pretty chill time and went for some gelato as the temperature skyrocketed to 31 degrees today!

Do you guys have any birthday traditions or things you love about your birthdays?

i hit up all the stores for birthday freebies like free cupcake from sprinkles, free drink from starbucks, free willy, another free drink from dunkin, ice cream from baskin, pastry from panera, and more that i can't remembr right now but will remember when they send me birthday spam mail.

Happy post-birthday! We used to do traditional cake, but here lately we've been switching to cheesecake on birthdays.

No one really cares that much about my birthday, so I generally don't make much of a deal about it anymore. It's not like in movies and tv, where all my friends buy presents and plan surprise parties. No. If I'm lucky, one friend will remember and will have time to buy me a cup of coffee. Nothing more.

But, uh, happy birthday for everyone with brithdays around now.

It's much the same here Kaderin, normally only some of my family remembers and the rest don't even bother... But I'm actually much more okay about that as it means that I have no expectations on me for my birthdays now ^_^
