I realised I haven't seen a thread around here for us to share our recipes, or what we cooked or ate that day. So, here's a place to share not just your own cooking adventures but also a recipe someone told you and you're yet to try, or a recipe you found online, or just somewhere you can state what you'd like to cook and ask for advice/recipes. Food porn is also welcome.

oooo, nice! i suppose it's just as well i didn't find that thread because posting in it would be necroing, but it's a lovely resource. though it's a few recipes they're all interesting. i'll include a link to it in my original post of this thread!

We don't have an anti-necroposting rule; in fact, we have an anti-anti-necroposting rule -- we prefer that if the existing thread is hanging around that you use it in order to keep the context around. In this case since the old thread is THAT dead it's not worth complaining over (you're not in trouble!) but in the future you don't need to be afraid of necroposting and you can use the search function at the top of every forum to do a quick search for existing threads of interest.

oh, thank you! i didn't know that necroposting isn't a thing here. that's a sensible rule! good to know!
