Name: Alexander Royson
Age: 25
Bio: Alexander is the youngest song in a family full of hunters. Rather then taking the typical approach to life that his family expect, Alex found himself in college going to school to get a teaching degree. During his first year teaching his warm and friendly personality won over a lot of students despite him being a new teacher. During the night when Alex is not grading papers he takes on the task of helping his family. It often takes a toil on his morning classes but the students don't seem to mind as long as they pass.

Thankfully the window was open. Alex checked his home for unwanted shadows before entering the threshold of his apartment. In a room aside, he could hear his roommate softly snoring. The little electric clock blinked 3:00 over and over before switching to 3:01. His body sank into the nearest lazy boy while his eyes rolled to view the ceiling. By the time Alexander counted the 5th rotation of the fan his eyes drooped into a calm sleep.

“WAKE UP!” Alex jolted out of his sleep to the sound of his roommate screaming in his ear. She laughed shaking her head with a bemused smirk on her lips. She drew a slip from her orange juice. “Ah the creative genius at work, why can't I see any of your paintings?” Alex's immediate response would have been what paintings however that was the lie he told her to keep her sane. “Never they're for therapy only” He slowly rose from his seat, taking the cup the girl offered him. The sugary substance quickly woke him and told him he had 30 mins to get to school.

Feeling fresh with his morning caffeine in hand, Alex parked in the parking lot of James Burrow High. For a moment he lingered for the taste of french vanilla with chocolate twisting his head to get the kinks out of his neck. The coffee always saved him from looking like a wrecking ball. Alex took one last sip, then grabbed his briefcase heading towards the teachers lounge.

Kent was rather thankful that the School Board had accommodated him well, giving him an apartment close to the school. He had always hated walking to far away places, nearly dying on a few occasions. He was glad to be 2 minutes from the school, hating the fact he didn't own a vehicle anyway. He had woken up a few minutes late but was set up for that. He always had a plan when he'd sleep through his alarm, always sleeping with his cell phone on. He'd always turn on the alarm for it and would set it to vibrate, waking him 3 minutes after his alarm would go off.

He had woken up around 8:35 AM, after a night out on the town. He brushed his hair back into a long pony, smoothing out the tangles. He had finished up a nice hot shower to help his senses wake as he normally slept all day on the weekends. Monday's were harsh. He finished up his breakfast, pouring what was left of the bag into his thermos.

He peeled down one of his blinds, looking through it to see what the weather was like. Putting on a pair of glasses, he grabbed his leather coat and briefcase. He locked his apartment on the way out, heading for the school. Walking onto the teacher's lounge, he crashed on his favourite seat in the couch. He grabbed his agenda out of his briefcase, checking out the schedule he had made for his class today. He always had ideas for his Sociology 12 class, making them watch educational films while he corrected tests or sketched.

Alex was working his way to the bottom of his cup when he walked into the office. He vaguely noticed the other person that walked past him but he was now lounging on the couch. Many of the teachers jokingly called the sociology teacher the king of movies. Alex tended to agree, though he was guilty of putting on history channel documentary from time to time, it wasn't every time the kids stepped in the class room. Alex walked over to the couch that the teacher was occupying debating with himself if wanted to exert the effort to annoy him or not.

Finally Alex went, put his things on a table and grabbed the nearest news paper. He rolled it up and then swatted at the back of Kent's head. Granted it made him feel like a twelve year old again pulling the joke on the sleeping man but if Alex didn't get to sit and relax he felt a little like Kent shouldn't have been able to either. "Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bacy"

Kent groaned, opening the closer eye towards the other teacher. He sighed, hearing about him from some of his students. They told him that he was a prankster, always joking around and finding some way to entertain himself. He tried to fall back asleep at least for five minutes he had hoped. No such luck. 'Crap this guy is persistent' he thought, rolling onto his side. He gave up a few minutes later, sitting up and reviewing his notes again.

He was going to find a way to pay that teacher back one way or another, but when he was going to make his move and spitball him the bell rang. He got up, brushed off any wrinkies and headed to his Soc room 304. He was always the first to his class, writing down notes on the marker board for the class to write. He would be showing a jail movie today, hoping it would continue for another 2-3 classes after. He would get them to write notes, then study their notes before a test would come up.

Once Kent was done setting up, he shut off the class lights when the students had finished writing today's lesson on the board and started the movie up. He went back to his seat, sipping from his thermos and drawing for the hour. Once break came after that, he'd gone back to the Teacher's Lounge and to his spot again. He was more alert now, ready for an idiot teacher to come bother him again.

Once the bell rang, Alex let out a small growl. He watched the other teacher leave the room before him. He was in no rush to see his students so he paused at the vending machine feeling that his caffeine buzz was slowly draining he bought a coke gingerly sipping it until students started to file into room 210 for their history lessons. He was glad that the first period was his regular students, the ones that many didn't see much of a bright future for out side of minimum wage.

The day passed with out much notice. Alex spent his lunch half on duty in the Cafateria and the other half in his class room helping his AP kids with their homework. His promise to them was as long as they had it done before class it would still count, if they needed help they could come get it at lunch.

At that point, Alex only had two more classes to teach and his seniors were usually sedated worried about getting into college or prom so it was safe to leave them to do their homework. In the back of his class room he kept corner to himself. There surrounded by ironic motivational posters, and time lines a brown dingy lazy boy. He flopped into the chair waiting for the last bell to ring.

Kent was glad when he'd heard the bell for lunch, not really having anything usually. He would normally 'eat' in his room during the films. He'd pack human food just to throw off any suspicion, being able to eat that either way. It was no surprise to his students in seeing him snacking on a bag of chips during the movies, as he allowed them all to do so. He usually kept his real meals in his thermos, sipping that casually during all his classes.

After lunch he had a free class, not really having to teach anything. He took that time to organize himself and to look up that annoying teacher's profile. Once he didn't find anything really abnormal, he went to drawing in his sketchbook. If there was anything abnormal, he was sure to find out eventually. He packed up his lunch, finishing a little sketch he had started but adding a little more detail for now. He would get to finish this another time. He often wondered why they gave him this class instead of an Art class or something, he didn't mind either way.

Once classes were over for the day, he stretched as he got up from his chair. He really should have brought in something that was more comfortable. He swung by the Teacher's Lounge, looking to see if anyone had gone in there after classes. He mainly wanted to see that one annoying guy and try to get even with him. He wasn't one for grudges, but that was because nobody usually annoyed him until now.

By the time classes ended, Alex was drained from grading test. He waved bye to most of the students reminding them to do the next assignment on the syllabus. Most of them would do it anyways a few would pretend that they didn't hear him as they're only excuse for not doing it. Alex rocked a little in his chair. He felt drained but this was no time for rest. He mentally switched gears to another train of thought that had been plaguing him. He mumbled to himself, finding it was the only person he could reason with some times out side of his family. Since he couldn't think with his buzz running low, Alex gave up taking his papers with him to the teachers lounge.

Inside he found the movie teacher as he learned all the students called him. Oddly he should have known his name but it didn't ring a bell. The posture did. No that didn't make sense either, Alex told himself and then reprimanded his brain to stop thinking. He made a b-line for the vending machine, dropping his papers on the table along the way. Reaching into his pocket his fingers fished for any loose change. “Hay man, “ He turned towards the other teacher. “Do you have a quarter?”

Kent had been dozing at his side of the couch, sketchbook over his face to draw away any lights. He had been sleepy the last few days as he wasn't used to being up all hours of the night and having to go to work in the morning. When he heard the papers fall onto the table, he grabbed his sketchbook from his face and put it away. He looked the man in the eyes, sighing as he dished out his wallet. He was still planning how to get back at him, thinking about somehow grabbing his agenda and erasing notes for the next few days of teaching by drawing something over the page.

He found a quarter and flicked it to the uh what did his students call him...oh yeah stick up his ass. He chuckled aloud thinking of the title, it was really pretty funny. He figured he must have been a tough teacher for the first years as they were mostly the ones complaining. He figured he'd humour the man in giving him the quarter. While he wasn't looking, he watched the other teachers. He saw an opening, grabbing the other's agenda and shoving it into his case.

When the quarter was tossed into the air, Alex with out realizing it let his instincts take over. His arm reached out and caught the coin with out so much as giving it a glance, letting it roll from one fluid motion around his hand and shot it into the machine. His fist smashed into the Mountain dew button. If it wasn't for the carbonation he would have chugged the entire thing. With his brain fully charged again, Alex visibly turned to look over his papers but his mind was far from school. He took a seat beside the man on the comfy couch closest to an arm rest where he could put his soda. “Thanks man I really owe you one.”

Every few questions Alex glanced at the lazy teacher, was he still trying to sleep. He would have known him if he worked in his department. Alex bit his lip resisting the urge to hit the man again, after all he gave him a quarter, but the urge was driving him insane. Instead he tried again for conversation from the quiet man. “Why are you sleeping on the couch?”

Kent couldn't help but watch the man fling the quarter into the machine, wondering what was up with that. This of course was after he had stolen the man's agenda. He would doodle over it tonight before going out on the town as he normally did. He would proceed to tell him tomorrow that he had forgotten it in the lounge as it fell on the floor under the table. "no problem but I still expect your debt to be paid upfront next time" he said sternly and a little lazily.

"I had a long night, couldn't really sleep. It also doesn't help matters when you have to come here so damn early." He had lied, knowing perfectly well he was out on the town, checking himself in to one of his favourite bars. It was a local club, unknown to the humans who attended it though who thought it to be just a quiet little pub most times. It was really a supernatural hangout, he'd go there occasionally as he was related to over half of the staff members. Though most of them were not pure ones but merely were thrust into the family. He had been kind about it either way as they knew not to mess with a guy like him. He had been checkout out the story of a new kid in town who could attend classes. Most of them couldn;t since they were turned and would burn up. But the Lamia, they could at least attend schools.

Alex let out a hearty laugh. “Yeah but don't you sleep through class?” He caught himself a little to late with his reply. It was uncalled for. “I mean I heard from a lot of the students, how wonderful your class was because all you did was show movies.” Alex felt there was no saving himself now. So he reached for his can and then passed it to the man. “Consider my debt paid in full. It might not help with your sleeping problems at home but for now it works.”

Shaking his head, Alex got up from his seat. It was nice to hear another person complain about the early morning woes of school, but until his co workers went through the wringer every knight with a blood sucking beastie there was nothing to complain about. He paused remembering that he still didn't know the strange mans name. “If there is a next time, I'm going to need to know who I owe money to.” He turned and extended a hand to the strange man. “Students call me Royson, people call me Alex.”

Kent shook his head, not agreeing with what the guy was assuming. "No I plan the other classes or sketch. Or sometimes even watch the movies with them. I never end up sleeping in the classes." He merely planned out his next week, drew or plotted revenge during these classes. Though sometimes he did read, although the students wouldn't notice since the lights were never needed. Lately he was reading more than anything else. He had been given a book by one of he female students, unsure what it was about until he noticed the mature rating and talks of yaoi. He had pondered what this yaoi was, looking it up on his laptop once. Now he knew. He still would read the book since it had a great storyline and because it was a borrowed gift as he said he'd have it back in two days.

Kent couldn't hold back a chuckle at the way the man had introduced himself. It was quite funny. Also kind of an odd way to go about it. "alright I'll mimic your odd way of an introduction. My students who actually call me the right name call me Nichols, but my friends all call me Kent." He closed off the handshake as he extended his own, tightening it into a strong firm grip. He thought he'd at least appease the man, taking a swig of the horrible drink before making a face. "How can you drink that garbage? It so gross."

Alex took his hand back and shook it. The man had a grip that was tighter then he expected. Then laughed at the face he made, before taking back the can and chugging what ever Kent didn't finish hoping there wasn't any backwash. “Its not gross, its an American pass time.” The amount of kids he saw chugging the sugary substance always astounded Alex.. Checking his watch Alex decided that perhaps was a day to forgo his nap. “If you don't like that drink, I know a great pub that serves even better ones, Its almost happy hour too.” It was more so the pub had a great selection of food and Alex was going to be damned if he was going to go hunting on an empty stomach.

"Ah but see I'm not from here. I only got transferred over due to family matters. I was originally born just above here. Nice nation really, Canada I mean. You ever been?" Kent chuckled, thinking he was being sent on a date or something by the sounds of it. "where is this pub? and I prefer Pepsi over anything alcoholic." He still couldn't believe the guy could drink such vile stuff as a what was it...red bull? "what is that vile stuff anyways...some type of energy drink?"
