Since sales are constantly on Steam has anyone else purchased any new games from their site?

I just bought Stacking for a really good price though I can't use it yet. Still working on my main computer.

I didn't even know what Steam was until I picked up Skyrim, though my sibling bought his copy through it. I noticed belatedly that they were selling Oblivion at 95% off when Skyrim came out, but I missed that sale. I don't feel like I need the game, but if it's dirt cheap then why not?

I notice they seem to have daily sales going on, but I've never tried to buy anything from them.

I think I would like it more if saved games travelled with the program, so that I could play my Skyrim save on my friend's computer (he has Skyrim as well). Not sure if there's a way to do that or not.

I bought shogun total war 2 for my dad with all the addons for $27, its almost $150 to get all that normally :o

I bought a few things as well.

Since I've a decent comp and a got a free Portal some time ago, I dl-ed that, and then Stray got lucky and won an extra of AC2 (which he gave me), and then I bought AC1 for $5.

I do all my gaming on my PC, due to having a reasonably powerful one, and Steam is an amazing utility. I think I have downloaded at least 20 games now. Latest being Q.U.B.E.

I got into Steam right when the holiday sale started. I didn't pick up a ton of games due to a limited budget, but I bought some casual ones like Bastion, Terraria, Dungeons of Dredmor, Dungeon Defenders, and Bit.trip Runner/Bit.trip Beat. I missed the 4th Humble Indie Bundle which depresses me to no end, because I really want to play Cave Story. So bad. D: But my fiancee bought the bundle so I can just play games on his computer.

There's a ton of indie games on sale right now, including the Binding of Isaac and its new DLC. One of my favorite games I've bought on Steam. :D

hmm will look into it, actually hasn't bought a game myself on steam yet, they were all gifts so far
