Name: Alton Davis
Race: Hybrid (human, but is called a hybrid or mut. This race is formed from the humans experiments.)
Appearance: Stands about 6 ft in height, about average for a human male during this period. He looks like he is in his twenties, probably being around 25 or so. Dark brown hair, that he keeps short cut and sloppy at best. The ends of his hair has a bit of a crimson red tint that blends well with the dark brown. His eyes are dark blue in color, this can change a little in his altered form depending on the situation at hand. His ears are shorter then the natives of these lands, but all the same similar in styling. He had a number of scars due to his line of work, and pinkish tan skin coloring. The more noticeable scars are the ones along his face (this one being from his left brow down to the corner of his mouth), the others are just littered across his body, mishaps and everything. Surely he would soon learn this place would provide more then a challenge to cause him to get new scars...
Bio: Merc by profession choice, he answered a phone call he got offering a job. The job paid rather well though he had little to no information to go on. This was nothing new, normally they would wait to ensure he wouldn't take the money and run so he agreed to meeting this provider and hearing out the terms. His life before becoming a merc is unknown to anyone but him. He has his reasons for wanting to take up odd jobs and allow himself to stay on the razors edge between life and death at all times.

His life was far from what one would call boring or average. He answered calls or reports of odd jobs, jobs most would refuse to take no matter the pay. But he lived for them, to find a purpose in his life once more. His past haunted him, he had done so many things that eh refused to stop and allow himself time to look back upon them. Though this job, seemed fishy at best from the start.

Upon entering the building he only saw darkness and this was soon followed by his mind going blank. A few times he thought he heard voices and some beeps or something.. probably from whatever equipment they were using at the time. Not once did he think this would happen from being a highly ranked solider for hire... He wasn't sure how long he was even out for but his head killed him.

Maybe all of that was just a dream, he did drink a bit the other night. Sitting up slowly from the ground he groaned before placing a hand to his head and sitting there. "What on earth.. " He complained aloud before he opened his eyes trying to correct his blurred vision. About the time he managed to notice he wasn't in his apartment a voice suddenly rang in his right ear. 'good to see your awake, we were starting to think it had failed.'

"The fuck?!" He quickly righted himself and stood there both hands ready and posed for a fight but he looked around seeing nothing but forest.. and the stream he happened to be near. 'calm down, we don't know how your body will react to the changes, they might not all be in effect just yet...' He looked around once more before questioning why he was hearing a voice, let alone what the hell it was talking about.

Though he got his answer when he shook his head again and went to the water to splash his face. After one splash he froze noticing a odd reflecting in the water as he nearly fell backwards before moving a hand to his ears. "What the hell!? Whatever sick joke this is it's -" 'this is no joke, you agreed to the terms of the job, for the amount we said. You were told of everything and you agreed to it. More will be explained in due time. till then.. don't get yourself killed.'

There seemed to be a click some one was hanging up or turning the mic off as he sat there before putting a hand to his chest with a heavy sigh. "what the hell did I drink last night.. " He sighed again before flopping backwards on the ground, he still had a small knife so it would seem. Now where the hell was he even? They told him nothing, what did he agree to? What did they do drug him.

sure he heard about sour deals but damn he never heard about being dropped off in the rain forest with a ear job...

He ran, jumped, dodged and ran some more. Leaves from the giant trees and bushes around him wizing past in a blur of green. Skidding to a halt with rough woren down feet Mizuki stopped. His breathing was still shallow and his hair neatly bound in the braid that hung down a tanned chest. Light lavender eyes peered down at the sight before him. A elven defferent from the men of his tribe laid by the waters edge. Though this Elf was different then the ones from before. Pointed ears shorter then his own graced his head though something was missing.

With a swish of flesh behind him Mizuki smiled. Thats what it was...the other male seemed to lack the tail of his people. With that thought alone Mizuki grabbed his bow and loaded an arrow. He would kill the male before him before anything else could take place.

Just as his fingers were ready to let go something from the corner of his eye made him stop. It was a softly glowing bug that seemed to fly infront of him and stop before heading on its way. Lowering his weapon Mizuki stood straight before turning and once again running off into the green.

He never knew of the danger his life had just been in. He could have been killed and he would have never been the wiser as to where it came from. Finally sitting up again he sighed heavily before looking back to the water. "What did I get myself into ... " Where the hell was he? Too many questions his head hurt, let alone why did they take his gun away? Sure he could use a sword or dagger but still... why put him here without a real weapon.

Standing finally he glanced around again before deciding it was better to try and find some way to make shelter and to find what was food here.. Though the plant life and the few odd smaller animals he had seen said he wasn't in any area he had ever been in before. He didn't get too far from the water, it was a stream so meant it was as safe as he was getting at the moment to drinking water.. Till he could make fire or something to heat the water to better protect himself against whatever could be here.

For now he just made a few rounds, he wasn't sure what was safe to eat. Even the animals seemed.. strange... where had they put him!? Though this questioned died as he heard a rustling noise from behind him and he spun to see nothing there as he pulled the dagger from his thigh. He let his shoulders sink a little before turning to go back to walking deeper into the forest before he paused again to check over his shoulder. He felt.. watched..

After a while longer he stopped to catch his breath a little finally putting the blade away as he leaned against a tree. Though the breath was short lived as he felt something around his ankle. It felt .. wet? and was followed by rustling noises. Looking down he saw a vine, it seemed to be wrapping around his ankle? Maybe it was one of those types that just grew really fast. He had heard of a few areas with such plants. Though this was quickly tossed aside as a new vine made itself known and seemed to hover in front of him before the end opened and seemed to produce a eye that stared at him.

".... what... the..-" He didn't get to finish his thought as he was jerked from the ground and held a good seven to eight feet above it. The one along his ankle and leg was quickly joined by ones claiming his arms and his other leg. Whatever they were producing seemed to be cold and wet and he started to notice that the fabric he was wear was being dissolved as it touched the goo. He didn't panic just yet, though he thought still he might have drank too much last night this couldn't be real.

Struggling against his new found binds he winced a little feeling that if he struggled the plant seemed to produce thorns to keep him from slipping from of it's grasp. "Fucking great!" He hissed at it as he tried a different method to try and rip the plant apart.. that was a no go either. What the hell was he suppose to do? He was losing clothing and at a alarming rate and unable to move? what the blood hell was going on?

After a few more moments the plant seemed to produce a few new vines that made their way to his body, warping themselves around the exposed skin along his chest and back as well as arms and legs. Though these ones seemed to have a different purpose from the others as he felt a few spines from the plant stick his skin. Wincing a little he felt something seep into the new wounds made from the spines on the plant, it burned a little at first before he shook his head feeling a little high headed from all of this.

'I just drank too much.. thats all this isn't happening.' he kept telling himself in his head as he tried to free himself, though he felt like he was growing weaker the more he tried. Whatever the plant just injected him with didn't help matters causing him to feel like he had a fever all across his body.

Mizuki jumped over a fallen tree landing on the other side with silent feet. Looking around he was about to leave the area before he heard a sound coming from past the shrubs, smelling the air he sighed a little to himself before he took silent steps forward. Peering between some large fern leaves he looked at the sight before him.

Thee strung up in the air about eight or so feet was the male he had seen before. It seems as though he needed aid in a rescue, at that thought Mizuki shrugged his shoulders. Why should he save something that for all intensive purposes should not exist. Though when he turned to leave the plant to its meal he paused and second thought his actions. The fact he paused was enough to make him turn around and grab the blade at his waste.

Walking silently around the scene he whitnessed the prick of thrones to the back of the males neck and Mizuki cringed to himself. The thrones or the plant would not kill him unless left within the man eating plants grasp. Though just alone was little to no threat. For the plants main function was to create fever, hightend touch, but also prevented movement...this made the plant deadly in its own way.

Walking around Mizuki found the base of the plant. A large round flower with purple and yellow stripes lay with thorns along its pettles giving the look of teeth to anyone who didnt know better. Bending down he took the dagger and sliced at the back of the flower right at the root cutting the very life line of the plant creature.

A screech was heard then a thunk as the vines recoiled back within the peddles the bright colors closing around them to crinkle and die from within the plant where they had came. From this point Mizuki was sure he was to leave the male alone to his own but he was shocked with himself as he turned around and all but walked right towards the male.

Taking soft steps Mizuki ducked gracefully out and under a low hanging branch of a tree before he stepped into the light before the male. Looking down he peered into dark blue eyes of the stranger with his light lavender eyes. Why had he chosen to make himself knowen was beyond him but it seemed as though the gaurdians had a different plan for him this day.

Mizukis long silverwhite braid hung over his chest the tips of his hair brushing at his thighs as the base moved the crystal that hung from his neck. Within his right hand he held his staff, a large wooden stick that came and curled at the top with a spiral, different feathers and crystals hanging from the bend. Strapped to his back a bow with arrows lay not touched unless needed as well as the stone dagger strapped to his left thigh.

A loinclothe of a creature long forgotten covered his lower forum ending in roughly cut points mid thigh. Furry cuffs and strapps covered both arms and partway down a left leg. His chest besides the strap from his bow was lightly tanned and bare to the suns raise. As he stood there his tail swished about with emotion of confusion as he peered at the male before him.

Mizuki took a step forward before his head tilted to the left side causing the earing on his rightly bent ear to move and dangle with the movement. Looking at the heavily breathing male on the ground before him Mizuki noticed the dark discoloration at the back of the males bent neck and he sighed within his own head before he walked forward on silent feet.

With force he drove his staff into the ground right beside the other males head before he bent down on strong knees before him. With out a word he reached forward and grabbed the males head bringing it towards him he placed it in his lap when he shockingly met some resistance. Grabbing both of the males hands within his right hand he hissed a little "Enough" Was all he said ina deep low demanding voice before his left hand reached and brushed the hair back and away from the nape of the males neck.

This is when Mizuki leaned forward. Placing his lips around a gash that lay there Mizuki closed his eyes as he began to suck. Moving his tongue about he needed at the flesh that lay there before pulling back and spitting a combination of blood and black goo out on the ground. In the middle of said goo was a throne that moved and wiggled. Letting go of the male he stood with out a word before taking his staff and killing the wiggeling thorn with the base of his staff. He said nothing as he whiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.

He couldn't just give up, even if he started to lose his vision a little from struggling from before causing the plant to inject more of it's toxin into him. He needed to fight, this was just a damned bad dream. In a few hours he'd wake up laugh at what the hell he had done the night before or taken and be about his business. Or rather thats what he wanted to believe so badly. Everything felt so real, the pain the fact that he was going into flight or fight mode in his mind. This wasn't a dream and he knew it... even if he wanted to kid himself otherwise.

Though his thoughts about the plant winning this battle and that all those bad comics that you read online were about to be proven real came to a halt as he felt the plant weaken after a screeching noise. He didn't get to question what was going on before he was dropped to the ground as the vines seemed to wither, not that he noticed that. Hell even on the ground he couldn't do anything but cringe a little. His body was hardly taking well to whatever it was given by that plant.

Why did he get up this morning? That phone call sure, but why?! He knew something was up with it but now here he was pretty much naked in the middle of the damned forest! A plant nearly killed him and he couldn't move even after the threat had released him. Though he started to think or force himself to think why was he released when the beast had the upper hand... That thought alone told him something else was here. He needed to right himself at least a little, even if he was already beaten he wasn't about to lay down and let something else eat him...

He kept trying to force his eyes to focus, anything would do at this point. Blurred vision wasn't a good sign and he knew it, probably due to the high fever he felt like he had all across his body. Everything felt like it hurt, he didn't want to think of the number of small cuts he got from a mere plant. Though his fear that the next thing he saw would be worse then a plant seemed to turn true as he made out what seemed to be a human shape... but not? Was that a tail. Ok it was official they had given him some date rape drug and he was losing it slowly.

The staff alone made him flinch, not being able to move and he was about to be killed by a native of the area now? Could he get a break? Just a few damned hours. When the other seemed to grow closer and then knelt next to him before half pulling him into his lap he wasn't sure what to even expect. Of course he tried to fight, he had no idea what was going on where he was or what the hell whoever had done to him. There were about a million questions in his mind, though he couldn't force himself to ask any of them at the moment.

What did he say? Wait he understood that mostly.. he knew it wasn't in english so why could he. He needed to start questioning things it was more then apparent something was going on here and he had no idea what. His body wanted to give way even with the forcefulness this male was using on him. Why did his mind tell him he was enjoying this!? Being man handled and nearly eaten and his mind was thinking this was a good thing? What drug did they give him, or what did they do to him?

The next action from the male who was trying to help him, not that his mind could process anything at the present time, caused his stomach to nearly lurch. The plant caused increase in senses yes, but he nearly had caused it to over dose him with the very venom seeing how much he struggled. When the other was done and seemed to take a bit of a step back he knew he had to take his chance and get the hell away from this area.

Going where was the second thought, let alone his body wasn't letting him move at all. His breathing was still trying to get itself under control as he lay there. He still felt like he was going to die, he had been through a lot in his life but this.. this wasn't even something he could begin to explain. He had noticed whatever the other had spit out and that he had killed it but he couldn't get anything to do as he wanted. A thank you would be reasonable.. if this being could understand him, he would assume that whatever it was he had done was helpful. Though by this point his vision was failing him again, he kept swearing there was a tail and this person had long ears. Yeah forget it he wasn't going to question none of it.

Mizuki stood there all the while laughing at the other mail within his own head. "The more you move the greater the punishment is..." Though his words fell on deaf ears it would seem as he noticed the lifeless look in the other males eyes. Its not like he was dead but Mizuki guessed that the toxins were taking a tole on the males body.

Shrugging lightly Mizuki turned to leave though his step faltered as he once more noticed the softly glowing bug from before. Though this time Mizuki fallowed the glow and his eyes widened a little as the bug landed atop of the hurt males head, fluttered its wings then left just as softly as it came. With a huff Mizuki turned once more and left only to return a moment later with three plumes of a red flower in his hands.

Moving forward Mizuki cleared an area before he placed the plumes within the space between them. Perching himself on the ground infront of the passed about male leaned up on a tree. Holding his staff between his legs to rest on his chest Mizuki sat there as he peered above watching and listening as the world darkened.

Soon soft glows began to apear. Soft pinks, reds, blues and purples littlered the forest lighting every inch of the great woods with glowing plants. The plumes infront of him the soft plumes of red flowers glowed a light pink filling the area with soft shadows.

Mizuki took this moment to open his softly lit eyes at the male before him. If Mizukis celculations were right the male should awake within moments time. Mizukis ears bent back and his tail thrashed at the thought. Why was this creature here?

He heard what the other said, but as far as a response he couldn't think about it at all. He just wanted to sleep or die one of the two. Every inch of him hurt, even breathing hurt at this point. When the bug showed up again he wasn't with it enough to pay it any mind. He never noticed anything from the point of the other speaking onward.

Even when the other left and returned and the area darkened he never moved at all, aside from breathing. Though by then his eyes had closed and prepared for the worse out of all of this. Sleep wasn't a smart move but he couldn't force himself any longer. Though his dreams seemed to recall a few things, like what happened or how he got here, parts of conversations. Those slowly faded as he started to drift back into remembering his past... more then he cared to remember.

After a little while his eyes shot open as he nearly panted like he had seen a ghost or worse in his visions. Though his body quickly reminded him he was in no shape to jerk around like that as he leaned back against the tree again placing a hand on his forehead. Why did this happen? He would say he was dreaming the forest too but he could easily tell that wasn't true, he was still here.

Opening his eyes again he noticed the being from before sitting not too far off. this made him a little uneasy in his current state and with no real weapon aside from a dagger, that he probably lost in the struggle with the plant. He wanted something, anything to put between him and this other. Though once again with his eyes adjusting to the odd lights in the area he noticed the moving tail.

He wanted to say something anything to kill the silence as the two seemed to watch one another. But he didn't want to risk saying something out of the way either. This was not his domain and he knew he was in over his head out here. But.. this... he wasn't sure what he was had saved him. Let alone he had stayed till he was at least awake? If he had wanted to kill him he would have already. Unless it was a very sick minded creature that would rather watch the fully away expressions of its prey.

Mizuki sat there and turned his eyes towards the male that now seemed to be awake. Mizuki looked the male over and noticed the little things about him. Though when the male seemed to look about for a weapon Mizuki smiled to himself and woundered if he would notice that the dagger he came with rested stuck in the dirt right beside him.

Mizuki said nothing as he sat there and looked at him. Noticing the shortly pointed ears and lack of tail Mizuki couldnt take it anymore "What creature are you?" He asked his voice cutting through the silence between them like a hot knife.

He had noticed the dagger, but he didn't go for it yet. He had been through enough as it was without causing himself further trouble if it wasn't needed. Though the silence was disrupted when the other spoke. Why did it seem to be easier to understand him each time? He nearly laughed a little before removing his hand from his head. "I was human, fuck if I know now what I am." It was a honest enough answer, he had no idea what the races here were called or what was even done to him.

His head was still spinning a little as he leaned it against the tree again to wait for the spell to pass. 'how the hell am I suppose to know..' he muttered under his breath. He knew he wasn't speaking english yet it came second nature to him, so he could add that as something else they did sadly. Though this only worked with common talk any phrases or terms he'd still have to get use to or learn. If he lived that long.

Common question would be to ask who or what the being in front of him was, but he didn't feel like asking. The creature seemed like the type to not give answers so easily. Though at the same time it was easy to tell Alton was more then confused by any of this happening. Normally he didn't question a job, but what the hell had he walked int here?

Mizuki looked at him and thought of the strange response. The male did not know what he was now though he was human. At that though Mizuki tilted his head and peered at him again "So...you humans finaly took comming here seriously" He said and smiled at the strange look he had gotten "Many have came just like you" Mizuki spoke "All died" He said again 'Some sooner then others" He said lightly.

Though this is when Mizuki stood and walked over to him. Without a second thought he reached out and brushed the softly pointed ears as his tail swished about behind him. When his hand was batted away he smiled and stood straight "Mizuki, prince of the Navari people" He said before moving back to where he sat down once again.

Looking towards the male he sighed and having his run ins with humans before this one he decided to answer the questions lost on the males tongue maybe it would save him time and truble. "Navari people are tree elfs and gardians of the forest"

He gave the one speaking a odd look. "People come here willingly? Hell I was nearly killed by a plant not even a hour after waking up!" What in the world was this guy talking about? "What do you mean seriously?" He could see why they died if they had a run in with the plant like he did, hell how were you suppose to fight that thing?

Though he sort of got his answer when the other seemed to walk over and touch the tips of his ears. Thinking on that a moment he sighed heavily. What did he get himself into... was there something he had missed somewhere when he said he'd take the job after hearing the offer? Looking at the other as he spoke again apparently introducing himself he titled his head slightly. Did he just say prince? He never questioned it.

After getting the answer to the unvoiced question of who the Navari were he laughed slightly. "Elves?.. your kidding right?" Thinking on that a moment he just almost was eaten by a plant and the pointed ears were proof enough. "Forget I asked that." He shook his head a little. "You know .. if they don't explain a damn thing tossing people in here no wonder they die. tsk."

He sighed a little again, there probably was no easy way of getting back, let alone he might be stuck in this form. "I suppose you deserve a name at least, not that it matters. Sounds like your already counting me as a corpse." He shrugged a little, he had been called a corpse before. "Alton Davis, the test subject..." He threw the last part on for his own amusement.

Now his head did hurt, elves.. they were in story books. They weren't real. He had been thrown here as a test subject and was probably expected to die. Who the hell did he piss off back in the other world?! "So why exactly are humans coming here if all they do is die?" He had to ask it, though he guessed the resources that were plentiful from the looks of it here.

Mizuki shrugged his shoulders at that. He to be honest had no idea as to why they would send these males here. It was a deadly place to anything that knew nothing. "I only know of knowledge...." That was all he said. In encounters before with other human males he learned that one thing. Knowledge they all sought it. Something to do with materials and wealth. Thats as far as he knew.

"Alton" He said before bowing his head lightly. 'Now that your awake...' He said turning and grabbing his staff before one turning and ducking under a tree branch. He was going to or wrather was planing on leaving the male behind. He had already spent to much time with the other male. Though the more steps he took the more something told him to stop.

Finaly listening to the little voice he stopped and stood there his tail swishing about behind him impataintly before he herd the rustling of leafs and grunts before Alton appeared from the brush "Hurry up" With that he left again. Mizuki had no idea what compelled him to help the male but for some reason it was ment to happen. Or at least thats what the little voice in his mind said as he ignored the soft glowing of the fireflys around him. He got the message.

Knowledge.. he wasn't sure if this being understood humans very well. But if all of them had died then what did it matter to him. He was sure that the humans were after this worlds materials.. probably a way to get rid of these natives as well. He'd have to wait till the next time he was contacted to question the voices... for now he kept that to himself.

He had to sit there a moment before he forced himself to stand. Was he suppose to follow the other? It seemed that this Mizuki character wanted to leave him alone with the way he left. Being left alone was something he should be use to that was for sure. So was that really it? Save someones life and leave after? Whatever he thought.

Grabbing the dagger that was in the ground he sighed at the state of his clothing. He needed to find some way of getting something else to wear.. at the least to cover himself better. He ignored this fact after he managed to stabilize himself as he went about trying to walk forward. This was still a little groggy at best. He wasn't really trying to keep with with the other, though a few more questions being answered would be great.. like food.

He blinked a little when he noticed that the other had stopped and spoke up for him to hurry up. That was easier said then done. He kept his remark to himself guessing the other did expect him to follow. So he went about doing so forcing his pace to pick up. Something he'd probably regret later when his body was reminded that it needed time to heal.
