oh i checked it out and watched the first ep it didn't seem like my kind of anime

Vampire Knight? It has 2 seasons that I know of but the other I can think of is also popular, Tsubasa resovior chronicles.

I'm going to be the nerd I am and suggest Sailor Moon, and Fruits Basket. DNAngel is also pretty good as is D Gray Man...

i would offer buy you only like the really mainstream stuff and i prefer fringe anime
