I love black and white shots, but again most of the ones I took were in natural daylight. I wouldn't know how to set a shot up with light boxes and flash to get the right effect in. What kind of picture do you need to take?

@Deli; it's usually just knowing some stuff and for the rest trying out. When you use a softbox, it usually takes like 10 times moving it before you have it in the right position. I love to also put a lamp behind the person, for the extra effect x3

I took a picture I took a month ago xD I guess that'll have to do for now.

Hmm. I'll have to remember that. I'm not very good with portraits. Now with pattern being the theme do you have any cloth or furniture that has a pattern in it? Even a border on a plate might fit that theme, depending on how you can look at it ( and the instructor)
