Princess tutu is an anime

A bit late on my part, but yeah, mostly for Funkie's thread. Wish there was some sort of bottle so that this guy could be a proper bartender....

A vastly underrated anime is what it is.

My friend and I are watching it together, so I've only been watching when she can. We're finishing it tonight, I think.

Ahhhh I see gally yeah I've heard great things and been meaning to watch it my friend even let me borrow her dvd's of it.

I've got the whole set. This is my 5th time watching it through.

Hm. Well. It's a bit magical girl style, the story being based on fairy tales... One story in particular, about an evil raven and a prince that took his own heart out to seal the raven away. The main character, Princess Tutu, is a duck transformed to a girl transformed to the princess who's job it is to restore the prince's heart.

It's really wonderful. It starts straightforward and shallow, but gets deeper as it goes on, the roles and story getting twisted into something completely different.

My favorite character is Fakir. He's a jerk, in the best possible way.
