Drafts are fun... i havent done one before...

Well i havent either i'm still trying to decide if i wanna do the draft or see the avengers movie....

I would love to do a draft. Been wanting to ever since I got into magic Dx

Well how many people are in your friend group who plays magic?

There are up to 14 of us i think, though normally only 6 or so at a time.

You guys could easily do a draft. Each player gets 3 unopened booster packs. Remove land, tokens, and any rules cards. First pack you pass to the left, second to the right, then third to the left again. And each person can take one card each time the packs pass them. Then based upon the cards that you drafted you make a deck of at least 40 cards. You want at least 18 creatures. And then you play with that deck that you just made. It's really cool in my opinion.

well, I am getting a full booster box (which is late >:|) so I guess I could save it and then arrange something once I'm back in Edinburgh with everyone.

The thing is, while I'm part of the friends group I'm the newest and least involved. I doubt I could arrange something

I think you can do it. I got third out of 14 and it was my first draft.

while they're happy to invite me to things to fill out a group, i doubt any of them would be all the interested in going to something I arranged. I'm not really friends with any of them on that sort of level yet.

that's where the main issues lies.

Well if you were using your box then what if you let them keep the cards they drafted? Would that interest them?

so im debating on to go on a planeswalker hunt...

But there are the odds that i wont be able to find it, but there are some decent rares in there that i can sell for later on...

So i need help. Buy booster packs or just but the one card???

the mirridon boosters will be vanishing soon enough, once the new block starts. If you don't have many cards from it I would go for the Boosters. That's if you have the sort of money to fling around xD

yeah that is what i was thinking of doing... at least it lets me find good and useful cards from the set.

I personally don't lime the Mirridon block that much. Infect and what ever that one where you can play life in stead of mana aren't really mechanics I like.

Well I'd say look at how much the card would cost versus how much youd be spending on the boosters but if you want other cards as well then go with the booster pack
