Previews of what I could find of Xiaolin Chronicles, the new series:

Exciting no?

I've known this for a while now... I haven't seen the trailer yet, but I'm looking forward to the show.

So am I, I admit, I thought the show was stupid at first, but I soon fell in love with it.

I'm excited, but at the same time worried. This could either be really, really good....or really really bad. Guess we'll just have to see.

T^T I wish I had cable so badly there is so much that I miss. This was one of my favorite shows and I am glad its coming back but I will not be able to see it.

I heard that at least in the preview video, Jack was revoiced by Mello from Death Note's English actor, if this is true, then I fear for other roles as well, I can't imagine Chase Young with a different voice, that voice needs to be done by Jason Marsden.
I don't fear for Omi's role however as Tara Strong apparently did do voice over for it. We will have to see if the series is any good and what changes if any it undertakes.

o.o changing voices, well I guess it's understandable things like that happen, not always for the best

a little off topic:
(though not all voices are acceptable to the public... with working with kids who watch the new pokemon I thought I'd get caught up on my pokemon but couldn't stand ash and the team rocket voices... ack, till there was one close to the older ones again...)

I will be excited no matter what, that is for sure.

I was hit by the nostalgia wave a few months ago, re-watched the entire Xiaolin Showdown series, found out that they're bringing it back with a new season (or seasons, hopefully) and now I can't help but stalk some of the oficial sites of the show and youtube for updates xD.

Personally, I like the new character designs. Dojo's new color scheme will take some getting used to, but I like that they made the characters look older for Chronicles as the show is supposed to take place a few years after the end of Xiaolin Showdown.

I just hope more characters get character development this time around, Clay and Kimiko need it badly and I hope Jack will get some as well (he's my favorite character so I might be a bit biased).

It seems that Xiaolin Chronicles will make it's debut on the 26th of August (this year) on Disney XD. Three episodes, of the new series, will air one after the other.

Aside from that, I think I should mention the fact that I was not the one who found this piece of information. I found the link on a fansite for Xiaolin Showdown (and I'll gladly link to it if anyone is interested, the site has some rather interesting discussions, threads, ideas and theories within it's forums, though, some posters [which I think have been banned from the site] have made some rather... let's say rude comments [mostly at each other xD]).

So is anyone excited for Xiaolin Chronicles or am I the only one right now...? I don't have Disney XD and I don't live in the USA (Xiaolin Chronicles is supposed to air on Cartoon Network for, I think, every other country), but I do plan to try and watch the episodes online if I can find them :3.

Awesome. So exciting. Yeah, I don't have TV so I have to watch them online.

Well, I'm happy to hear that I'm not the only one who's looking forward to XC over here :3.
