Man, that really sucks. :( I understand though, had that happened when I was a lot younger, I probably would have focused on other things rather than drawing. When I was younger it was only a hobby.

Same here~ I still have some random talents I learned from old teacher who got me into drawing and I use that to write out descriptions of OCs.

One thing she tought me was to see shapes in everything. Like... How can I describe this... Like looking up at your ceiling in your room and pick out pictures in the textures... I guess that's the best description I can give XD

I would spend ours just drawing random lines on a piece of paper and stare at it then darken the lines of shapes or faces that I could see.

I actually drew a birdman the other day because I saw it in the ceiling tiles of my apartment. :'3 I get what you mean, entirely. When I was in middle school, all of our desks had really random patterns in 'em. I drew Pokemon-like creatures based on them, too.

Good times~ Though I mostly saw cartoon-ish things o .o... Like an alligator with a giraffe body, A homicidal turtle wearing a top hat ( ended up having a nightmare about him in the end XD ) Kinda a darker tale of the turtle and the hair story.
