I said. Temperamental creatures cause volatile wands. Not that the wand is moody (which it is sometimes) its just cause and effect. But again its not a fact. Some creatures cause volatile wands who aren't temperamental. But a kelpie isn't one I:

But anything can be dangerous. Did you know kelpies are calm creatures? Yes they kill but they are violent about it. Depending on the lore you read, a kelpie will lure a person under water and drown them but the person doesn't know this. XD either that or they lure them under water and eat them except one organ. But still. They do not make a volatile core @-@
