At this current moment, I've got a cuddly, loudly purring, gassy kitten sleeping on my shoulder!

I've got another cat who sleeps in pretty much any position and location (we found him once sleeping weaved in between the rungs on a ladder).

Another cat who just learned he could meow. (He's roughly 3 or 4 now)...

What other odd, comical, or just plain weird things do your pets do?

Well, my dog likes to rub his ears on his bed while using his paws to wipe off whatever he thinks is on it. Normally this occurs after a flea/tick treatment or after I clean his ears.

He also eats grass in the spring/summer, so much that I call him my Cow.

My parakeets used to fall asleep on my shoulder also. I miss them dearly... -cries-

My dog would come in and check on me at about 10am every day. He would walk across my bed and stick his nose in my face until I acknokledged his presence, then he'd curl up next to me and nap until I actually got out of bed.

He used to glare at me too when it was getting late and he wanted to go to bed. Generally speaking he would stick around wherever I was, and late at night he would walk to his bed, walk back and look at me, walk to his bed again. Come out fifteen minutes later and look at me. Cute boy.

would argue with me whenever i said no >>; i would say 'no' and he'd go 'mrouw? mrou!" and it would continued until i said ok or i did whatever he wanted

Cole also knows when I don't feel good either emotionally or physically and he wont leave me alone until he's satisfied that I will be okay or I'm dead asleep. One time I wasn't feeling so hot so I was curled under my blanket in my room, I let him in and closed my door and went back to trying to sleep. He curled up on my floor, didn't make a peep at all. Until I woke up an hour later.

I had a parakeet for 8-9 years and she always knew when I was sad and would fly over to me and kiss my cheek to make me feel better. I really miss her and animals are amazing when they can pick up their owners feelings.

Yeah. I really miss my Monty. He was never really the huggy type, for a dog, but he was always nearby, sleeping against my leg or something, or on the couch or bed next to me. I have pictures of him around so he's still 'there.'

He just got his first bath in the pool and is trying to snuggle while I dry him off...

My dachshund keeps trying to bring other baby animals into the house to take care of them... i think she still wants to have more babies even though she had 3 a few years ago.

Oh the things my animals do...I tend to find the 'special' ones.

Biscuit thought he was a squirrel, which was unfortunate in a Norwegian Forest Cat. He'd sit on his back legs, tuck up his front ones, curl his tail over his head and chitter if he saw one outside the window.


And then there was Frenchie...there's a loooooong list of stuff for him. First off he used to sleep wrapped around my head. Stomach against the back of my head, paws wrapped over the top and claws tucked into my nose. Or, if he couldn't sleep like that he'd press his face into mine, which only worked since he was a Persian and had no nose to speak of. During the winter he'd 'ask' to be let under the covers and would sleep pressed against my back. He loved to take showers or baths, and adored getting his hair cut/shaved. He never meowed, he sort of huffed or gasped, but knew I could hear him no matter where in the house he was. We also joked he was a 'dirty old man' as he loved cleavage, LOVED it. And, cause he was awesome, he would let me put cute costumes on him ever year for halloween(he was an attention hog, so it worked well).

Kyou will talk back if I ask him a question, so I have fun talking to him to get a response. He also likes to hide in my hoop skirts and will get very depressed if I take them away from him. He hates to snuggle, unless you pick him up on his back, then you can get free tummy rubs forever. We're working on playing fetch as well.

What can I say, I find the special kitties.

My dog likes to eat a ton of grass and sniff EVERYTHING. It's so adorable though when he eats the grass. I always call him a pig because he snorts when he sniffs and a cow because of the grass thing.

Other than that he's a pretty normal dog.
