I just have two starter decks I got for Christmas, lol. I love tabletop games, but I've seen this one be such a money sink, so I'm loath to get too into it.

Yeah that is very very true, but its really fun i really like it.

but personally I think that magic is worth it.

A new gaming cafe (primarily board/card games, with a few PCs as well)just opened up near me. it's amazing. I pretty much live there on my days off and play Magic all the time.

I can order Magic Boosters with my lunch. what more could you want.

Strictly financially speaking, Magic is actually a very good investment. The older cards get the rarer they become and the more they are worth. So if you play for like ten years and then drop the hobby, you can become rich pretty much instantly. xD

And Ducky, oh my god, I am filled with jealousy. My significant other and I want to start up one of those someday. I have always wanted a coffee shop and we both love tabletop gaming. We pretty much met through it. ^^

had been planning to open one with a bunch of my friends, then this place popped up and it's so perfect. It's a nice cafe on the surface, with loads of gaming rooms downstairs. Gaming in the basement <3 they have entire walls of shelving full with games.
