Ah, okay. I hope those starter evos will have those rumoured secondary types. >w> I like the sound of them, especially the fire/psychic and water/fight one. >w< I don't like how grass will be x4 weak to bug. D:

Granted, they won't be weak to bug types until later in the game when they evolve. Everyone is complaining that if those were the real types the starter Pokemon will have a huge disadvantage at the beginning of the game, but they fail to see the fact that
1.) Who's to say you will encounter any bug type Pokemon right at the beginning of the game?
2.) Your Pokemon won't be weak to bug until they EVOLVE. By the first evolution you should have 2-3 different Pokemon, so you are telling me that not one of those types are a flying type? A type of Pokemon most trainers catch at the start of their journey. -.-

I agree, I hope the Pokemon will have the secondary types. Being pure water/fire/grass would be boring. :/

And how many bug types are there? Also bug moves early in the game tend to be quite weak.

I wonder what the flying type at the start of the game will look like ouo I love catching those more then the normal types mainly because the birds kick ass in the beginning xD

I think the secondary types would be interesting only because it would give the starters that are weak to each other a secondary type advantage over the other. Fire weak to water? No problem! Psychic is strong against Fighting! It would be a cool dynamic to the typical rock-paper-scissors starters. However, I am not opposed to pure typings all the way through the evolutionary line. They haven't done that since Gen 2 and pure types aren't necessarily weak.

Pure types generally have less weaknesses, except grass :P
