So I am never good at directing the story. I usually set up the plot and what not and let others choose which direction to take the story as long as they still follow the main idea of the plot.

I have a question, are we still developing this story or has it fallen by the side to the fighting rp and the one that natsu has started?

Ok Espy. I would rather let people create a character anyways.

Sorry Poggio. I think because of my inexperience with RP I have inadvertently ending the idea before its even begun. People are moving on. I'm not upset or anything. Its ok. I'm just sorry I wasted people time.
I'll have to consider looking into one of Espy or Natsunaine suggestions.

This has been a learning experience for me. I still like the Elemental Idea. I'll roll with that I guess and have things more hammered out before I try one of my won again.

Well that's cool. :) I figured because I'm so undecided about this I'm just going to put it off for a while. Maybe learn more before I continue. Do you have any suggestions?
We have a sort of idea but I'm not sure how far to go before its ready. From what I've read, It appears that I need to figure out the world, characters, plot and so one to make this work. Even a sort of character sheet for my character is sort of required and I don't even know what person I'd be playing yet. I figured air, but haven't made up my mind.

Yes you made perfect sense...All of you did. I'm sorry. Ok then. If your willing to put up with me, I would like to try this. I know from what I've been reading, that I need to be a bit more prepared.

Hm...Character sheets/profiles are relatively easy, as is the setting. The plot is the main problem -- if we don't have a solid (more or less) plot to go off of, the RP tends to meander in loops and get nowhere.

...and then you lose people and interest.

That's what I'm afraid of.

@Espy, Would you like help creating the Arena? I am sure two people working on it would make it go a lot faster.

Edit: Also, Ebony, It happens, Rp's die all the time, The important thing is that you and your Rp partners had fun with it while it lasted.. Well, at least that is the way I look at it.

Espy, honestly, I just liked to words together. I suppose I'd like it to be a play on Dark eye or something like that. But like I said. I just like the sound of two words together. I'm weird.

So may I suggest making it a modern fantasy that way people do not have to do much research on the setting? Or you do not have to get too involved in making an entire fantasy world on your first go?

Also I believe in jumping in the pool. If you keep worrying about how hot or cold the water is you may not enjoy yourself. I see that you like writing so rping may be something you like as well.
