Well, okay, maybe I should have clarified. I have a backhand plate, and I'm going to be painting foam and gluing it one so it looks embossed. It's my first time doing this, so I want to stay relatively simple XD

@Espy: Ah cool. You could stick gems on it or something. Would I be able to see it once it's done? It sounds so cool.

It's not that impressive XD This is all I have right now. The brown part is the part I need inspiration for. The white base is probably going to be painted black, and then the decoration will be either silver or gold. Then I'll glue the two together and cover the whole thing in varnish.

I can't easily get my hands on jewel-looking things, but I was considering buying some sequins and cutting them to gemstone shapes for my next gauntlet (if this one turns out okay). Obviously I'll be lacking the 3D-ness of it, buuuut...

Ah. Hm, sadly I have no suggestions for something like this. o x o;
