*nods* Yeah, running a party is hard work. I hosted a party on campus with the Student Government, and I had to leave in the middle of the party to avoid having a panic attack. I'm just glad I had a bunch of people volunteer to help clean up after it was over.

Indeed, hosting parties is more work than it looks. The first year I hosted my birthday tea party I was nearly run off my feet. Manning several tea pots so the tea doesn't get bitter, defending the more precious leaves from overzealous drinkers, seeing to the guest requests, and overall keeping the place clean while being obligingly social is probably equivalent to a day spent at the gym. Immediately following said party I profusely thanked my sister in law for all the great many parties she has hosted over the years.

EDIT: darn fricken' shoddy lantern! Rawr!
