Are you serious?! I remember when new donation items went for 3-5k a piece, depending on whether they were popular or not. That's absolutely insane. I don't see how anyone would put up with those prices, but that probably nets Gaia more donations every month.

Man, although I am glad newer people have options, because being an oldbie shouldn't automatically get you the best, it seriously hurts Gaia's credibility (if it even has any anymore).

I was a poor kid on Gaia because I didn't know its main thing was forums -- thought it was just a game-ish site back then. So I gained gold very, very slowly. Took me a couple months to get the Kong Sang scarf; had my eyes on that one and the red scarf thing for a while. I mean, I'm glad it's worth over 1mil now, but that seems kind of lame given how much gold people are willing to dole out for art.

Yeah, they did the Dtail too. And made another version animated.

Luckily I am so used to the larger Trisphee avatars that the Gaia avatars now look really small and lacking in detail. I still miss some of my items there, though.

I posted off and on there for, oh, 6 years or so? I have a fair number of fancy items. The super old donation items I have (from 2004) are worth less than current donation items. Go figure.

For what, you may ask? Why, I simply asked a moderator to go fuck herself. For deleting my thread which is all about telling Gaia Online staff to...erm, go fuck themselves, for spamming my inbox with their subscription offers.

I mean, honestly... What did they expect from me at that point?

Oh, that was your thread? I understand why they did it, on principle, but not why they would suddenly care enough to remove threads like these from the forums. Site Feedback is filled with negative feedback and the like.
