as far as I'm aware my condition is just excessive shyness and moderate social anxiety, at least partially caused by lack of proper social development during childhood due to being homeschooled.

but I dunno, that's self-diagnosed.

I didn't mind it at the time, though. I was just a kid, I didn't realize I was missing out on an important developmental phase. :P

Have you told that to your parents now at least? Even if it's past mistakes i don't think they should be swept under the rug.

nah, I mean, I don't even know if that's actually true and there's nothing to be done about it now.

I think it is always good to help people seeing other viewpoints and possible flaws in their own actions and reasoning.
