Insurance - All you need in some states for pregnancy medicaid is a positive pregnancy test. In NC anyone can get it even if you don't need it as it offers partial assistance and become a secondary payer if you have another insurance.

I qualify for CHIP in Oregon and I could do that but if I wasn't working I would probably have to move home to Idaho. Which is fine and everything - I miss it - but they didn't do the medicaid expansion. So I could still get CHIP but they want so many months of established residency before they will allow you to apply. I cried to my mom about it yesterday and she is going to look into it more for me >3>

Yeah the residency is a bitch you are better off staying where you are at. You could stay with your job til you gave birth, and because you have been there for a while you will qualify for FMLA (meaning they can't fire you til you get back)

ah but you see he would say I quit or was laid off. My boss aside from putting the required posters up does not follow any labor laws. We don't even get brakes on our 10 hour shifts. (However everybody but me smokes so they all go out for cigarettes) My boss already established he wants me to quit before I get "fat tired and lazy like how women tend to do." And has been sending gals in to give me their resumes.

Actually he can not do that, it is illegal in several states. But if he does make him let you go and collect unemployment checks. Then sue because he can't legally fire you for being pregnant
