I'm here but not as I'm working and popping in when I remember ^_^;;

I've been unpacking stuff all day x.x;;

Mine was pretty quiet, but fun. I haven't lived anywhere with trick or treaters in almost ten years so even though there weren't many it was still a good time for me

We didn't have more than maybe twelve kids show up over the time that we had our porch lights on. We live on a quieter street. It was good when the sibling and I were kids, because we could play out in the street, but now? It's kinda dull.

my city has designated a couple streets downtown as "the" spot to trick or treat. So the outside parts of the city, like mine, only get the few neighborhood kids whose parents didn't want to go downtown haha.

I remember being able to walk all over town and hauling a pillowcase full of candy home... nowadays, can't do that, because helicopter parents are sucking all the fun out of it.

You know...oddly my eldest doesn't want to stay out forever trick or treating. He was practically begging to go home Monday. He got a good haul, but still.

What did I do on Halloween? Oh, I remember! Drew my first SSI payment after working for almost twelve years to get it started! Oh, no wait, that was the next day. Whoops. But, I did get myself a make-up kit to use that calls itself "Mermaid Eyes" that has false eyelashes, iridescent eyeshadows, and glue-able glitter flakes to look like fish scales.

Thanks, it's been a long dozen or so years of trying, so glad it's finally over. That part of it, anyway.
